Can see Oxford at least getting in the playoffs if they sign him. Is he the same player now though?? Wouldn't be the first player to fail at a higher level, then come back a different player. His game was built on confidence. He didn't score loads at FGR's and missed some sitters, when we first signed him. Hopefully he isn't as good, as he was during his last few years, with us.

Exactly, i am hiding behind the sofa. Give me a shout in 6 days time when its all over. It's just what we need, imo, to galvanise the crowd, give the moaners in the crowd a decent distraction, and bring some atmosphere. Exactly my thinking, bit of atmosphere might spur the players on a bit.

With players in their squad like Cadden, Hall, Brannagan, Woodburn, Fosu, Henry and Sykes, they should have enough for him to put a few chances away. He seems just the sort of player they require.

why so he can score a hat trick against us ? He has scored nine goals since January 2017.Β has not had a run of matches has he ? also he might not be a championship player but he scored a fair few for us didn't he ?

Unfortunately when people drink on an empty head it can sometimes turn ugly.

Can see Oxford at least getting in the playoffs if they sign him. Agreed, I've just put Β£20 EW on them at 25/1 to win the league. Great odds. They've got 4 points from a tricky first 3 games. The only game they lost was at away to Blackpool on Saturday, where they had 23 shots and 69% possession. Even Simon Grayson admitted they deserved more from the game. It sounded like the only thing they were missing was a striker. My biggest doubt with them is Karl Robinson but they certainly seem to be giving it a go this season.

Great signing. Probably get the worst reception at the mem for a long time Not so sure myself. We probably had him in his prime and he's turning 30 this year. Don't think his output will equate to the level of investment they'll put in him. Was never going to be good enough to establish himself as a decent Championship player and so it proved.

He wasn't up to that level, something numerous City fans I know were pretty confident on. Genuinely don't think he'll set the world alight at Oxford this season.
