I would guess our footballing staff wage bill is around 3/4 of a million less than 14 months ago at least (DC, Stewart, Lines, Harrison, Locks various backroom staff etc). What do people expect?
We have no/little money and although some of the youngsters show promise they are not ready. (Alfie has been building up to this season for 3 years).
As a club we need time for the likes of Russe and Tomlinson to be phased in.
This is a season of transition. It won't be pretty but just think of the players out of contract next June.
As supporters our job is to support. I have no doubt a fully fit JCH, Little and THD will be amongst the top 10 players in their position in the league.
Tranmere is crucial but their result on Sat v Bolton was a farce and we have played 3 out of the top 4 so far!
Let's get behind the club for the next three games. A win v Brighton and a good draw might allow us to get another attacking signing.

I'm not firmly in any group. I agree with most of what Knowall wrote, but not necessarily the context. I've worked in big organisations and one place I had a brilliant direct manager and the owner let him get on with it. Then, the owner wanted to step back and put a CEO in place to act for him and the place fell apart because no one liked the new bloke. That whole situation spread right from the CEO to the cleaner. It became a horrible place to work. Motivation was zero. Its blatantly obvious, despite silent Ken, that there are issues at the club. I dont know if its Wael, Ken, Hamer, Starnes, Hani, GC or what the problem is but its clearly effecting the board room, the manager, the player and the fans. We cant go on like this. And today's events involving some of us does not help the clubs cause in anyway whatsoever. Enough said! What have I missed today?

The trouble with all this negativity and predictions of doom, is that those who want GC out or have given him until xmas, will actually want us to lose or fail to score or not sign anybody so as to hasten his departure! We have no idea of the restraints on his budget, and he would dearly love to move players like Nicholls and Bennett on, but in getting them to sign for us we overpaid, and nobody else wants them!
