Started for UCD against Dundalk on Thursday. Yes, their 5-0 thrashing by Dundalk. UCD really struggling with the step up in quality this year and have conceded 70 goals in 30 games with a minus 49 goal difference. Think they let a lot of thier better player's go as well didn't they?? Hard to judge Scales at the moment.

Yes, lost most of their better players like Neil Farrugia etc. Having seen a bit more of Scales recently, I'm not convinced by him if I'm honest. Can get bullied a bit and got a mistake in him.

I saw Dundalk recently away to Slovan Bratislava in the Europa League (went in the away end) - they don't offer much up front at all. The Irish league is not of high standard let's be honest, bar a few players here and there

Three away defeats, six goals conceded and no goals scored. Nothing to worry about, next away game at Lincoln. Why on earth would we want to bring in better quality players? Our Manager keeps telling us their an honest group.

We will not sign anyone, we have owners who dont really want to own us, here's to hoping they pass us on to a group with more ambition.
I dont think we should expect anything else from the Al Qadis

I dont think we should expect anything else from the Al Qadis Have a word with your brain will you. We are at the buffers of SCMP and have 3 players on big wages signed by the previous manager, who GC can’t move on, because no other club is daft enough to pay them the same wages. If we could move them it would allow us to sign another 4/5 quite easily. We are also losing £3m per year. I don’t think we are in a position to throw more money at it and add more fuel to the posters here who will condemn the owners at the next AGM. Adding one more player at £2k per week costs another £100k per year, plus signing on fee, plus agents fee. So total cost will be somewhere around £150k per year and that’s if there is no transfer fee.

They wanted too much money and we couldn't get player's off the books.

We have too many on a decent wage, still under contract, who are not earning their wage. Maybe fans will be happy if we get an owner like Bury did. Or Bolton, or Blackpool before, Portsmouth, Plymouth etc. We are running to the maximum allowed amount, losing £3 million a season and fans still moan. Until we get a new ground, it will always be like this, or worse.

Why would we sign anybody today ?
We are not go enough to progress up the league
We are to good to get relegated this season
We are a club going nowhere fast
Wait until we can get rid of some of the overpaid dross DC signed and start again
