can’t believe we haven’t signed any creative players from last season when that was so obviously what we needed. This team is gonna need are full support so let’s get behind the lads and hope we’re still in league 1 next season. I guess this is the first real proof the ALQ's have lost interest in the club, I still can't get my head around why we've got 4 decent FB's but no creative CM. The mantra was evolution not revolution. Maybe now they’ve seen how much it costs for us to evolve into an established lower-mid table L1 team with mediocre facilities they have adjusted the final end state away from the hoped for entertaining side with Championship stability in a new stadium and training complex, or maybe they have extended the length of time of the evolution to a couple more centuries?

Bolton sign Daryl Murphy, the kind of player who could score quite a few this season in my opinion.

It's clear we haven't signed anyone. A little disappointed, especially given the "marquee signing" label Coughlan gave, but in all seriousness what would our idea of marquee be? Wouldn't it be someone who's too good for a team that many have touted for a relegation fight? And also, negotiations in football are honestly so fickle, I'm not sure if anyone recalls when Chris Wilder and Sheffield United released a video of "behind the scenes of deadline day etc." But it purely demonstrated this, they had practically already signed Devante Cole from Fleetwood until his agent suddenly asked for a much higher price than they were willing to pay, despite the fact they'd already negotiated a price. Despite all this though, we've had a good window overall. I'd probably give it a 7/10, we could have done with another creative player but maybe Coughlan sees Tomlinson or Bennett has a solution (despite their lack of gametime so far).

They need a significant points deduction. No way can they be allowed to remain in the division next season.

Just been looking at strikers who were performing in League 2 who everyone was looking at to see how they're performing now, particularly Christian Doidge and Jayden Stockley. And just seen Doidge used to be in our youth system but was let go.

Salford are at it again I see.
Am I right thinking FFP kicks in two years from promotion to the EFL?

Cameron Borthwick-Jackson [Manchester United - Tranmere] Loan Crazy that. Was really close to breaking through under LVG and I rated him and Fosu Mensah at the same level.

It will only take a couple of injuries/suspensions to our defenders to make playing 5-3-2 not possible. We could have done with a young CB from the premier league or championship for cover.

When is the free agents deadline if anyone knows? Wasn't 5pm Players that were free agents before 5pm can sign outside the window. Then would you say as our signings have predominantly been free agents there's still a slight chance of us signing a creative player of some sort? Or at least the deadline doesn't prohibit that, if players like Daryl Murphy were still available (and a lot of players are also being released right now), maybe it could still happen?

Underwhelmed by our transfer window, we seemed to have lost a couple of good defenders, gained a couple of good defenders and have a bit more depth up front compared to last season. No marquee signings or big expenditures but some decent enough business.
The one good thing is that we haven’t weakened in any department and taking into account our signings in January, we look stronger than we did at the start of last season.

Salford are at it again I see. Am I right thinking FFP kicks in two years from promotion to the EFL? I am fed up of Salford already, on the TV twice this season so far, Sky Bet sponsor them which is a disgrace, sky should show no bias, a conflict of interest in my opinion. I bet they are paid handsomely by Sky, when the likes of Bury are shafted.

Rolando Aarons gone to Wycombe, bristol boy would have been a very decent signing but guess no money for new signings. If Benno had his contract finished by mutual consent guess he could still go to swindle
