We're better off without them to be honest. Although Clarke is wrecking what little confidence is left in the players. Took two players off after 25 mins on Saturday and judging from their reaction he won't get anything out of them again this season, not that he'll be around to worry about that. I've never known a manager so full of himself with so little to back it up on. 1970s style manager 40 years behind the times. The fans want him out. He wants out. It won't be long before the board realise they're paying off yet another manager to get him out. No worries he can take on another "project" elsewhere, but I think he'll have to select his next role carefully or his reputation will be ruined for good. When they sack him will you promise to go away and never come back here? Why do you consistently have to be a complete and utter arsehole? Saddlesore is very reasonably sharing his thoughts on a manager that many on here still think of as some sort of Messiah. Saddlesore, that twat speaks for himself, you're welcome anytime and I like to read your opinions.

You can't really have a pop at him for his behaviour towards a fellow forumer and then call him a twat yourself!

Calm down everybody! It's perfectly reasonable to have different opinions on DC (and GC for that matter). What is patently unreasonable is to rubbished somebody's opinion that differs from yours with a stream of abuse.

DC made one big mistake when joining Walsall - he didn't take Steve Yates with him. Study the time DC spent with the Gas - he was successful when he had Steve Yates with him but a complete failure when Steve left.
Each to his/her own!!

Great result for Walsall in the end with 10 men and no Clarke or Sincs. We're better off without them to be honest. Although Clarke is wrecking what little confidence is left in the players. He deserves better than you lot a) I was responding to the previous post discussing your two relegations, not his record elsewhere with a club that bears no resemblance to a league club. b) None are the promotions are relevant to our situation. Let's not forget he took you down before he got you promoted, and you were by no means looking like relegation when he took over.

DC takes full responsibility for taking us down, but anyone with a brain knows it’s not his fault he was chucked in at the deep end with 8 games left to try and rescue a team that was sinking faster than the titanic. He did do it eventually, just not in the 8 games. We were 100% going down before he took over. Just because we were outside the relegation zone doesn’t mean we weren’t. They aren’t relevant to your situation but they were to your comment. You lose DC and it will be your loss.

Relagation written all over this squad and management I’m afraid, only one game I know but we look lacking all over the pitch. You’re just full of classics eh?

Why would he not take the job? He came here as assistant with the aim to takeover eventually so why would he turn the opportunity down? I doubt he was that well paid until our L1 promotion tbh x

Saddlesore. It was John ward who took us down . He bailed a sinking ship - at that time DC was a sacrificial lamb . Utg
