Let’s forget all the negativity surrounding off the field activities & support GC and the lads. It might not be total football but at least it’s effective, I am actually going to games expecting to win , which I couldn’t say for large parts of last season.

I sense expecting to fill the Mem is a bit much but it would be good if the missing 1,000 re-appeared and, if they did, the players then rewarded them (and us diehards!!) with a good performance.

Yes, time to show GC our support. I’m sure Gerry Francis’ style wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea either. I’m not sure what more GC could have done, we could have passed our way into league 2 last season instead. 3 points over entertainment for me every time but that’s just my opinion. Plus he signed JCH on a free!

We are the GAS Right on brother..there’s not many people in their first managers role that could turn us around on a shoestring budget and a army of dc lovers on his back from the start. He deserves respect.

We quite simply need (me included) to stop feeling sorry for ourselves regarding the state of the off the field stuff and during those 90+ minutes create an atmosphere to both push our boys on and intimidate our opponents. Maybe we are guilty of falling into the expectant customer trap and forgetting we are the heartbeat of the club and what drives it! GC deserves a lot more credit than he has had! The man deserves a song - he kept us up, has built a solid squad on a sh**e budget, picked up a worldly striker on a free and has us looking up rather than down currently in the top half! What do we really expect of him? He’s a fairly new manager not pep! Long ball ain’t pretty but it’s pretty effective! We need to give the guy some support! Think of some of the complete joke managers we have had for God’s sake, GC needs our support!

Maybe GC deserves credit that people don’t even try it! #respect

Having come down from The Champ last season they should be a big test for us and our unbeaten record. They also signed Ladapo from Plymouth who I think is a very good CF - he's sure to be a big test for our back 3. Not expecting a very big crowd - 7,000 would be good. those who've decided to stay away won't be back for a while, not unless we hit the top 2 soon.

We all need a little Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, challenge those negative thoughts and think positive and we will challenge for a play off place.

To be fair while this team may not be silky at the minute we are playing with heart, abilty and scoring goals while also looking soild at the back.
These next 5 games or so could see us not far off quarter of the season gone and being a soild top 6 side.
GC sides since being here are soild and hold out, while winning. These games could create a playoff pushing season if go well for us.We need thoses missing fans back.I'll be there Sat! Utg..

Rotherham's results are only average having only had a similar start to us this season, I can't see we need to worry unduly about them, it should be a good test for our top 10 credentials. I know who I'd be more worried about between JCH and Ladapo!

GC is getting results and that is what matters. Cant knock that. He is doing the best with resources he has currently.
If Mourihno was in charge parked the bus for 80 mins and we won games people would e saying its genuis.
I truly believe that people are staying away not entirely because of the football, but the clubs direction.

I am with Singupgas on this, think its the off field situation that most missing people are disenchanted with not the efforts of GC and the team. if like me you are long in the tooth, you are used to false dawns and take every new 'master plan' of futurama with a big pinch of salt, that said even I was sold on the UWE thing! but the modern day fan tends to mirror society and very much want 'it' now and if its not available they move on to something else, but I am a supporter of Bristol Rovers and will for ever be so no matter what, have had a few low moments in that time but that only makes those days in the sun that much better, I would not mind betting that our 3-1 win yesterday meant more to us than Man City's 8-0 meant to them. this latest, goodness knows how many pages on the fruit market thing just adds fuel to the fire of expectation among some fans and could well turn out to be the latest in a long road to nowhere and more disenchantment, me ? well I just accept where we are ,enjoy our victories and quickly turn the page after a loss, best not to speculate on the 'what ifs' ,don't really expect anything to change and who knows might just get a very pleasant surprise some day!!! up the Rovers!
