I think the issues with a lot of fans towards gc isn't down to one particular thing but lots of small things added together. 1. They have a issue with the style of play. 2. He took over from a very popular manager. 3. He was seen as a cheap replacement, which showed little ambition from the club 4. The whole episode with lines left a sour taste in the mouth for many 5. Creative players were needed and none were signed. Whatever their issues it will take time and more wins to make them come back. Im sure that those that choose the stay away at the moment dont support the club any less than other. Just maybe they feel a little let down with one too many false dawns. Success and climbing the table will always increase crowds no matter who is in charge. They have literally withdrawn/pulled back their support for the club whereas others have remained loyal and are supporting the club. It's important to make the distinction between fans and supporters. Supporters are the reason lower league clubs exist and those choosing not to attend for the reasons listed can't call themselves that.

I think it’s time that we fans on this forum and others who don’t subscribe on here. Get behind GC and more importantly the players.a very high percentage of fans want the best .Why? Cos we are Gasheads and most of us wants the best fo the club we love. So I beg pls all genuine fans get behind the club . There will be down moments but to this club to succeed we all must sing from the same hymn sheet , and that means everyone . If you disagree then please keep your negative comments to yourself..Thankyou

I think the issues with a lot of fans towards gc isn't down to one particular thing but lots of small things added together. 1. They have a issue with the style of play. Effective given the limits on spending 2. He took over from a very popular manager. Who was taking us down and who lied about the budget3. He was seen as a cheap replacement, which showed little ambition from the club. He knows this league far better than a lot of others 4. The whole episode with lines left a sour taste in the mouth for many. Lines was past his best, plus I always remember the stick he got when he went to Wednesday from the "fans"5. Creative players were needed and none were signed. You build a team from the back, and that is what has happened. his signings have been a lot better than the previous managerWhatever their issues it will take time and more wins to make them come back. Everyone wants to watch a winning team regardless of how they play. Middlesboro got to the Prem being boring and Arsenal won the Prem being VERY boring, but both had sell out crowds

Supporters support the club financially whilst absent fans are followers, I am not saying people who just follow the club are any Less passionate about it.
