Take one game at a time. MKDons prepare well for that. Then think about Doncaster. Then.... In a way although unbeaten at home which is great I’m more confident, strangely, about away matches. UTG! Think our recent record at home to MK Dons is quite even in P6 W2 D2 L2 so 3 points would be very nice

Bristol Rovers battle the odds. Despite being predicted to struggle this season, Graham Coughlan and his team are defying expectation. An unbeaten month that included three wins and two draws has pushed the Pirates into 7th position, only one point behind Blackpool in 6th. As we enter October, they are slowly becoming League One’s dark horse, as they bid to win an unlikely promotion. Despite losing key defender Tom Lockyer in the summer, the Pirates have a watertight defence to thank for their impressive September, as two shut-outs against Rotherham United and Lincoln City helped them pick up maximum points. They are pretty nifty up top too and currently own the League’s top goalscorer in Jonson Clarke-Harris, who has netted seven goals already! rokerreport.sbnation.com/2019/10/1/20889519/league-one-review-september-sunderlands-promotion-competitors-starting-to-emerge-already

Feels like keeping JCH in January is vital to keeping it going to the end of the season.

And we've got some good players unfortunately out, doesn't appear there's been much update on injuries for a while?

I just wish Hare was fit. add Holmes-Dennis to this list - the best Left back in the division. Anyway, that's football - injuries/suspensions you just hope you don't have your key players out for long or at all.

Away to Doncaster I would take a point all day long. Home against MK Dons, Bolton & Pompey I can honestly see a minimum of 7 points there. Pompey's form will surely pick up - their forward line is up there with Peterboro's - Marqiuis, Pitman, Harrison and that Irish lad who did so well in his breakthrough season last season.

It's going to be a tasty match coming up against ellis and Brown in tow. Can't wait.
