A draw is the order of the day. It will keep Blackpool within 3 points of us and we do not want Bolton achieving any morale boosting victories before their visit to Fortress Mem in a couple of weeks.

Got to be a Blackpool win for me, despite the impact at the top end of the table. I really don't want to see Bolton have any chance of getting the points to stay up at the expense of another club.

But Rovers are suckers for slipping on banana skins and if Bolton are still looking for their first win when we play them, I would be very nervous

Hardly a sparkling advertisement for league one football in the first half from two very poor sides.

They both look quite similar to us I reckon. Difference is we’ve got JCH. Without him we wouldn’t be in league 1 this season and if we would then we wouldn’t be in top half now.

Just to be controversial: without DC, we wouldn’t be in League 1 at all. Just saying!!

That has to be one of the poorest games I have seen in a long time. We can now switch over and not suffer hearing Lee Hendrie time & time again mention “If it wasn’t for the points deduction” in regard to Bolton. They were absolutely dire and I’ll be very disappointed if we do not beat them this month.

Disappointed with Blackpool tonight as they never put Bolton's goal under any sustained pressure, apart from the shot against the bar early on neither teams ever looked like scoring. The games Sky choose are odd ones, tonight's never sounded like it would be a classic given Bolton's money problems and Sunday's sounds even worse, Coventry v Tranmere at a deserted St Andrews. Then for the international break in November they've gone for Tranmere (again!!) v Wycombe. Accy v Ipswich in October looks the pick of the games this year but that's hardly going to be a classic.

Not too sure that Sky worry about the quality. They are just finding games to fill their schedule. They know they will get less than a 1m viewing figure for these league 1 games whoever the teams are or whatever the quality is. But you are right those games won’t get the pulse racing. UTG!

Poor quality match from one of the better teams, Blackpool and an improving team, Bolton. When you see that you start to think that although we aren’t a very creative side we don’t look any worse than Blackpool did tonight and this division is short on top quality teams. Whilst I think we’re higher in the league compared to where we will finish after watching that I looked at it and thought perhaps we could do better than I thought. Play to our strengths, be underestimated by our opponents, keep JCH, avoid injuries and with the defence looking good and who knows what might happen. UTG!

Tranmere currently winning away at Coventry (preventing a Cov win) means we remain 4th. Happy days Game over!!! Get in Tranmere.

Bit early to be worrying about what other sides are doing I reckon , by about 3 months .

I tried to be clever sticking £250 on Cov to win on 70 mins. See Payne still managed to miss a sitter!!
JCH would have scored 4 in that game if Cov still had him.
