I’ve gone past feeling sorry for him now and I think he’s actually taking the p!ss out of the fans and manager with his continual Sub par (politely putting it) performances. He needs to man up be counted but yet again weak timid performance last night. How many chances did he miss ?

I hate to see this guy going through such hell, but he needs to take whatever it is he can do elsewhere for everybody's sanity. He has had more opportunity than any player, offering so little, that I can recall.
Pboro saw the light and quickly sold him with the glow of his Exeter form still attached. We have been left with a player that needs to be moved on again. Maybe back to Exeter and back to the place it happened for him.

There were at least a couple of instances last night where he sort of got into a position to have a chance, but didn't quite. He lets a ball just beat him rather than bust a gut to get to it and make it into a goalscoring chance. Is this lack of confidence, lack of effort, or something else holding him back - I don't know, but it clearly means he doesn't have a goalscorers instinct.

He just looks scared to go for it, in case he blasts it wide or falls over his feet. I think lack of confidence has made him freeze and I can't see any way back for him now. Last season he didn't score but contributed more. This time he just doesn't score.

I've said before that DC love affinity with Nichols would cost him his job, and in some ways I think it did. Now GC is going the same way, but after watching last night on the TV I am starting to feel sorry for Tom . It's not his fault he keeps getting picked , as each game goes by his career is is sinking in the mire, between Dc and GC they have finished him as a pro. One of those 2 managers should have had a hand on the shoulder moment and moved him on ,in a last ditch attempt to save his career , now I fear he will end up in minor non league , the lad is completely shot

I think he is good enough to play behind a front 2 or 1 and operate more as midfielder. Technically he is very good I cant see another club signing him in league football to be their striker.

43 is the highest number of chances ( not assists for goals) created in the division? That's less than one per game on average. Is that stat really accurate? Seems really low to me.

How is a 'chance' defined as opposed to assists?

I'd take him back, provided we actually got a proper goal scorer with 20+ goals.
I thought he'd done better than he had, I guess he dried up towards the end of the season? 11 in 43 isn't spectacular.
