Headed down the M6 my family have come up with 4 different MOTMs.... 9 year old has picked Victor. 13 year old gone with Sercs. Wife has chosen the keeper, which is hard to argue with but I reckon Ollie Clarke.

Wasn’t there but it’s great to hear Ollie Clarke had a good game. It’s fair to say he’s picked up a bit of criticism from our supporters since coming back from injury but as our captain and longest serving player I’m really rooting for him to turn it around and change opinions on him.

He’s miles off, I like ollie and have praised him plenty of times, but he’s not doing it this year at all?

Ollie didn’t have a stormer but he was decent enough. He hasn’t deserved the stick he has received. Always gives 100%

He isn't consistent enough for me. At 27 he should be performing more than 1 in 5, and that ratio is being generous

I watched on ifollow and I have to say, without Jakkola we would have lost 4-2. 2 saves he made today were unbelievable.

Amazing how we can all watch the same game and see things differently.
Thought Clarke was poor today. Got bypassed by thier midfielders way too much and am struggling to remember him making anything going forward.
It would be boring if we all agreed

Didn't think Clarke had a good game either. Jaakkola for me.

So was I and he had a good game including the build up to both goals the thing I noticed yesterday, usually in 50/50 situation, ollie would usually steam through for the ball, sometimes win it, but more often probably get a card. This season he’s more reserved, now that’s either something he’s trying to change in his game, or he’s not as fit? I really hope he does get his form back.

One point a lot of people are missing is where ollie is playing. You have the back 5 regardless of if you call them wing backs it is still a back 5.you then have upson and agogo sat in front of the defence with ollie in front of them being confronted by at least 2 or maybe 3 opposition midfielders so he is being crowded out whilst the other 2 of our midfield get the praise for mopping up advancing players. As for your point about how he is playing I recall previously the amount of criticism he was getting for steaming into tackles and getting booked now he gets it for not steaming into tackles and getting booked a lose lose situation for him

Jaakola for me, that last save low down was exceptional. Lucky it landed at the feet of a Rovers player to clear but still doesn't detract from the save.
Midfield were good as a unit but nothing that truly stood out quality wise. Sercombe had his best game for a long time but is still not the player of 2 seasons ago.

According to the FA disciplinary web pages, Ollie (and Tom Davies too) is just one booking away from a suspension - so that might be affecting his play at least a little. I wouldn't be surprised if Ogogo is close to a suspension too after his booking yesterday - I don't know when the FA page will be updated, probably on Monday after the Refs reports go in.

According to radio brizzle that was ogogo’s 5th yellow but 1 was in the lady gardeny scabby cup (There words not mine) and doesn’t count.

That's right, scabby cup bookings only count in that competition. Three of them just one booking away from a 1 game ban then. I must admit I'm not sure if the FA cup bookings will be treated separately as well this season? I hope so as it would be bloody annoying to loses Ogogo for example for the Sunderland or Shrewsbury game if he were booked v Bromley.
