So, with the new ruling for players not getting involved in walls, in this instance the opposition's manager seemed to think that the WBA players' presence near the wall was against the spirit of the game, and the goal should have been disallowed. Any thoughts?

what was wrong with that.
I thought The ref normally draws a line for the wall and the a line for the attacking team now

Assuming this rule now applies then it should have been disallowed as the WBA players on the right of the wall are clearly within 1m/1yd?
"If, when a free kick is taken, an attacking team player is less than 1 m (1 yd) from a ‘wall’ formed by three or more defending team players, an indirect free kick is awarded."

Tbf, they're roughly 1m away from the wall. The referee would/should tell them they can't stand there before it it wasn't allowed. Sounds like LJ isn't complaining about the rule breaking, rather 'against the spirit of the game'? F*ck me, let's start disallowing goals because it's against the spirit of the game And this is coming from the guy who has instructed his players to never kick the ball out if a player is injured, they must wait for the referee to blow his whistle. What spirit is that?!

Think the keeper might need to empty some of the concrete out of his boots. That's another C£@y keeper that wont get past the first week of Strictly

Static wall & the keeper didn’t move a muscle. LJ will do well to focus on the state of that goal from a defensive point of view, before sniping at the nature of it being scored. A real touch of quality there.
