Oh dear. What have Burton done to deserve that? Although he may have improved in his time in the States..?
I am not a mad fan of Virgo but did anyone hear what he said in one of his latest pieces? "I had Buckle as manager at Rovers and thought "if he can earn a living as a manager it can't be that hard"".

I have nothing against Burton at all, in fact quite the opposite, so I hope they are careful with this one!

Surely this is just nonsense, unless there's some connections we are unaware of why would an apparently decently run club like Buron even consider his application?
Any idea why he's left the state, as his misses also sent him packing??

They seem to be a good example of a well run club. Sad to see it all fall apart.

Should we warn them? I mean, Buckle is the biggest bell end to ever walk this earth.

Perhaps there was more control their form Colin Lee as his DOF than he was allowed at Rovers? Although he did no better at Luton under a DOF

The bloke was about as likable as Ebola. Poor man management and negative dull football. He did make some good signings though, with Smith and Carayol being sold for a good profit.

What about the countless poor signings he made? Gill, Anyinsah, Stanley, McGleish etc. His good signings for us were limited to Smith, Carayol, Brown and then arguably originally bringing Parkes here on loan and Harrold, I like both but they split opinions. When you sign 16 players you have a good chance one or two are going to turn out to be good.

If Buckle's favourite they had better lower their expectations!

Parkes actually arrived the week Buckle left, as far as the boring football though I'm not sure, apart from the Muzzy inspired spell under MM, things have ever improved? In fact when did we last regularly play attractive football, under Holloway?
