How about moving the shop outside of the ground on match days so that everyone has access to buy these great suggestions. The current policy of having to arrive mega early or waiting until after the game before you're allowed into the Upland terrace just means people like myself never go into the shop unless it's to buy tickets. Boom. Best idea so far.

NO OFFENCE MATT. IF I WANT JUST A POLO SHIRT THEN I WOULD GO TO SOMEWHERE LIKE T.K MAXX AND PAY A FIVER FOR IT. A POLO SHIRT TO BE SOLD BY ROVERS SHOULD HAVE SOMETHING DEPICTING THE CLUB. LIKE WHAT RAS HAS PUT ON HERE I'm not saying we put nothing on, obviously we wouldn't have a magpie, but something we felt we could identify as BRFC. one of my suggestions was a pirate skull/cross swords, so exactly what Ras put. MY EYES ARE LETTING ME DOWN....I COULDN'T MAKE OUT WHAT WAS ON THE POLO TOP.....SORRY FOR THAT. IF WE DIDN'T HAVE THE HUGE ROVERS BADGE IT WOULD BE A GREAT IDEA....DIFFERENT COLOURS TOO....I WOULD BY A COUPLE OR 3......AT A REASONABLE PRICE

Id definitely by the black and white stuff with the skull and cross bones/ 1883. I'm not into track suits and replica shirts at all and football merch always seems plasticy and tacky but those designs are hardcore. I like em.

Good news... We have a logo. It seems as though said logo should appeal to a few of you. We have got ideas as to what the logo would look good on.
Bad news... Our official supplier doesn't have the shirt design we want, it's going to take a while getting it, we are hitting hurdles with sourcing alternative cheap enough suppliers. Also, the club have recently ordered other items we were hoping to get, but with our logo on. As an example, im told bar scarves and gloves have recently been ordered. For every breakthrough moment we seem to hit a wall.
It's just the Rovers way I guess.

If you are savvy with printing stuff on shirts you can always just buy a bundle of stock plain shirts and print them up yourselves? Can we see the logo!!

For a reletively small outlay couldn't the club purchase a sewing machine that does embroidery? They could hold stock of plain T-shirt and polos and just sew what's needed? It only takes moments to do once they are programmed. They could offer 4 or 5 designs and not have the worry of holding unpopular stock.
As for having poor suppliers, bin them off and find a new one! There a tons out there and one would love your business!

Its kinda the same Hugo with printing shirts. A press costs about 150. Stock tees at about £2 each, polos for about £3. Each stamp costs you about a quid for ink and nylon paper. Obviously the more you get the cheaper it becomes.
That polo for example, it could be made for £4. Six for a better quality polo.

We agreed at the last meeting to wait until we had(including the club)sourced and priced the items, with prehaps a date for delivery before we put it out on the forums/club site etc. Hopefully we will have something to show after our meeting on Monday. But still some things to iron out. We have tried hard to come up with new ideas/products,lets hope as time goes on we can introduce more stuff. UTG
