The O P is trying to sh!t stir, hoping that if you say something often enough it becomes fact. Like Bennett's wages, and Dunford signed Lambert, and not Trollope.

You are a practical man as we have discussed before and so am I. My post about a widget factory is not entirely hypothetical. I’ve sold buildings when necessary to free up cash to revitalize a business. It works, you just have to carry all the stakeholders in the business with you. That’s what I am trying to do because IMO the people running Rovers are bound to be considering this but have no idea how to go about it. I am trying to show that it is nothing to be frightened of provided you do it in the right way.

Suggest you keep your stupid suggestions to yourself, not sure any genuine Gashead would want to encourage the owners to think about ground sharing. Anyway with AG now out of the question and Twerton Park no longer fit for league football, then it's not even remotely practical in any event.

Cheltenham, Swindon, FGR, Yeovil, Newport.
Lots of choices. All equally unpopular.

My understanding is that when Higgs did the deal to sell the club to Wael’s mob , in the contract there is a clause that the Mem can’t be sold until a new stadium is in place. Hopefully that is correct or we could really be in a worrying place if new owners can’t be found. Correct

No matter how many outrageous things happen at the club many fans still defend Wael’s leadership and say they believe he is working hard in Rovers best interests. What would be the reaction if it was announced that next season we would start groundsharing with another club while plans for a new stadium were “finalized” ? No matter how high in the league we go, or how much money the board pump into the club fans still try to stir stuff with ridiculous hypothetical questions. What would be your reaction if it was announced that all the stirrers just had some weird axe to grind and kept coming on the forum with ridiculous posts in order to provoke a "reaction"? the only thing they have pumped into the club is hot air

Given that the original plan when they sold the club was the UWE though, then the 'new stadium must be in place' bit wouldn't mean we have to actually own said stadium, so depending on how the clause was worded then what SwissGas is suggesting would still seem to be a possibility?

If we were to get promoted, how would the EFL react and all the other clubs in the championship. The Mem is not up to Championship standard. The only option available is....wait for it.....a ground share over at Ashton Gate. So, would it be worth the hassle of getting promotion if we can’t play at the Mem. We need something very urgently or else promotion will always be a pipe dream. If promotion was gained, maybe we will be allowed to play at the Mem for one season, unless the football club can tell the EFL that a new stadium is being built. If that doesn’t happen, the EFL might insist we play at a championship ground.

The Principality (Millennium) Stadium isn’t a million miles away (41 from the Mem allegedly) and the 74.5k capacity should just about be enough. 😂
