Fair comment Paul. Got to be worth a million in today's market. There is todays market and then there is Rovers market . “Never knowingly oversold”

Then be explicit and tell the media there will be a press conference as soon as the situation is resolved and keep all questions re: the manager for then and don’t fire them at the goalkeeping coach. I agree - that would have been sensible to open the PC yesterday with that sort of statement. The Press aren't stupid though - they (and we) would have known that an announcement would be made when all was sorted one way or the other I think you can leave half of the posters on here out of that statement.

So glad I get all the latest, up to the minute Rovers news from the official site When is the goalkeeping coach going to update it Give him a chance. Have you tried typing with goalkeeping gloves on? That's one of the best posts I've read on this forum in years. It's not often I actually laugh out loud reading a forum, but you've had me in stitches there

I feel like that's bullshit. That's one position we really don't need to look at. Not so sure, who would be on the bench for international weekends now Alexis has gone out on loan? We need someone in. Seems weird letting Alexis go, but I guess he gets experience and we can get a loanee if for cheap. He has gone out on a short term loan. Salisbury have an injury crisis. He is likely to play tonight.

Can't understand as CEO why he was so dismissive about the stadium and the training ground as if wasn't anything to do with him, forget the stadium that's on fantasy island but the present training facilities have been heavily criticised by both DC and GC as been unacceptable. Surely the CEO has to grab hold of everyday matters and make sure the players have somewhere to train properly. Not on his remit can't be the answer, whose remit is it then.

Obviously Santa, from the Santa's Grotto, is responsible for that.

Has GC actually slated the training facilities though? Other than the BEP writing that he's apparently unhappy with it?

Im sure he knows where the club are regarding anything resembling progress, but In fairness to him I think any updates about developments should come from the owners directly as they're the ones who are ultimately in control of the wallet....

Now wrapped in cotton wool and probably played his last game for us. Sell JCH in January and you sell most of our hopes of challenging for promotion to the championship along with it and I can bet that a spot in the championship would be more financial lucrative than the fee we'd get for JCH too. I can't agree, not once you add in the massive increase in wage bill - at least double, likely ripple our current wage bill. There's a reason that most Championship clubs make a loss.

You're not forced to increase the wage bill significantly though. Burton didn't and they made a record profit. Once you add in TV revenue, gate receipts, increased sponsorship revenue to prize money, you can make a lot of money from being in the championship for one season if you are savvy enough.

There are plenty of facts to moan about without going into unsubstantiated rumours.

Stadium: "I haven’t been involved in that. Those plans for stadium and training have stayed out of my remit." What? He's the CEO? Is that not literally one of his jobs? If not, then who? I know. It’s complete bullshit. And why wasn’t he questioned further on that? Also, why did the press not ask about compensation? Are some questions vetoed? Or refused? It seems like a very easy ride was given on all subjects.

He didn’t have an issue with the training facilities when on Geoff Twentymans show earlier this year, kept going on about how they were better than Sheffield Wednesdays. Good riddance to the negative dour lying idiot.

Exactly my thoughts regarding the stadium situation. If the stadium is not in the CEO's remit to at least oversee, then it simply beggars belief at the shambolic way in which this club operates at the highest level. I give them about as much slack as I feel I can because I don't like to lambaste people without any evidence, but their communication is absolutely diabolical and whenever they do communicate they reveal practices that are at best confusing and at worst amateurish.

We've clearly been compensated, but I doubt any club divulges the figure, no doubt the ITK'ers will soon claim it was 10p and the tinters £1m!

The rest of unsubstantiated, yet when enough people post it on here it seems to become fact. Winds me right up.
