Surely that's just to be expected. All clubs, except the few richest, will sell if the price is right. It doesn't mean that he's not wanted. Fake news.

Adrian Durham on talk sport is going nuts about his club Peterborough reportedly selling Toney and Maddison. It’s reality sadly

I read somewhere about Sunderland putting a 600k price tag on JCH.
I had to laugh, but sounds about right. Other clubs putting THEIR price tags on OUR players.

JCH will be off I am afraid.
Will be lucky to receive over 1m.
If Ellis can go for the reported 750k JCH should bring in a sum much much higher.

What would be the figure most would accept as "we had to take it" ?
I'd love to hang on until the summer because I really think promotion is on, but I don't see how we'd say know to £1M.

Over 2 seasons JCH has been way better than Ellis was for us, should be looking at 1.5m plus really, sadly we will accept much less.

Anything over 1Mil would be good.
A very good 12 months, picked up on a free and has missed a number of games.

Lowest I’d take is £1.5m but I’d like to hold out for £2m. Think he’ll go once the offers breach seven figures though.

Worth £3m at least in my opinion, if we are still in contention during January then no sale.

Hold out for about 15 million. Might as well wipe our entire club debt in one go, right?

Are there any recent examples of a similar quality goal scorers, same age and under contract ? Interested to know if there is a ‘going rate’
He’s done well in 12 months for us but done very little before and seems to have a habit of pickling up niggling injuries and taking a while to fully recover.
£1m would seem about right for me. Sadly any fee received is unlikely to get used for new signings.

It's about time the people who run our club learnt how to deal with transfers and contracts. If JCH is on a 3 year contract as was reported then there is absolutely no reason to sell him this January unless a market value is reached and I would say for a player with his record 3m is not out of the question but we are Rovers and the owners have proven during their time with us that they are not going to put money in and therefore the first bid over 500,000 will be in their pockets.
