Have a missed something or do we currently not have a caretaker manager? Bristol post claiming Joe Dunne expected to take saturdays game but i thought he had left?

There's a few who could do it. Shouldn't be a problem for a one off game.

Today's announcement about Dunne has probably caused more confusion. Probably why the usual pre-match press conference did not happen, tomorrow should give us the answer.

The beard cannot be brought back. The beard never went away. The beard is omnipotent.

I expect it to be Hargreaves. If he's not in the running for the job then by the time the new manager is in place that'll be 3 different managers in 3 or 4 games if he does take charge. #only@Rovers

Seeing as there was a very strong feeling that JD was going to Mansfield with GC why wasn't Hargreaves placed in charge for the Plymouth game? If he's being considered for the role, which the media are leading us to believe, surely this would of made even more sense?

Kevin Maher is First Team Coach and, I suppose is next in line. I'd expect him and Adrian Tucker to be supported by Chris Hargreaves and/or Lee Mansell.

In breaking news, Bristol Rovers have announced their caretaker manager will be a Ginsters Cornish pasty.
Club President Wael Al-@udi, explaining the appointment, said:
"The pasty and I have similar ambitions for the club, and we think the same way. If successful in this position, the club will of course not rule out offering a long-term contract to the pasty or indeed one of his tasty co-workers."

I expect a Tesco value pasty will be announced shortly.
