Not football related other than it occurred at today's match, but I lost a wallet containing my season ticket and credit/debit cards (and my bus-pass, which might explain why I lost it!) somewhere between the gents and the pasty hut. The lady on the gate told me it had been handed in and had been taken round to the main bar, from where I was able to recover it. Many thanks to the person who found it, and those who looked after it for me.

Only kidding pal, great ta know there's good folk out there. Merry Christmas to yous and yours an particularly to th person who handed it in.

When you compare the level of investment of both clubs and we are 20 places apart it's quite incredible really. I bet Landsown hates us with a passion 😂

But realistically they are ready to embrace a promotion if it should come whereas we are still struggling to have a decent infrastructure for this level rather than one that we could see sustain us in a higher level.

I know the reality, all I'm saying is I expected the gap to be much greater. In our history there has been plenty of times when they should have soared away from us, ex's Twerton and rel to Conference. When you look at the investment from Dolman and Landsown we have had none of that, always run on a shoestring. Probably why they seem obsessed by us and don't understand our passion for the club.

But football is a strange game and you’d expect a far greater gap given the financial difference between the two clubs. I agree with althepirate, they must be wondering what they have to do to consign us to history. As I’ve said too often on here, we’re just one very good season away from being in the same league as them and they are just one bad season away from joining us and if those two seasons coincided we’d swap places. Unlikely to happen but.... UTG!

Sunderland and Ipswich , both bigger clubs with better history than the sh** are league 1. Anything can happen and it usually does.

Glad it all ended well for you, as far as our neighbours go well more than half of the championship clubs are financial basket cases and there will be a few more Bolton's in the not to distant future and as a business our neighbours are losing money hand over fist ,it is only transfer money and Lansdowne who keep them afloat ,they and many others are staking all on reaching the promised land alas, for many it aint going to happen!
