Not sure when his deal is up and I suspect it's the end of the season. I've been a critic in past seasons but wow this guy is absolutely bossing it this season. What with the recent upheaval maybe we should offer him an extension as a player coach and he can step right in to fill a spot as well as being available on the pitch too. What do we think gasheads?

Had to love his tackle on Jade-Jones. Retribution for the foul on Jaakola.
At last a Peterborough player had cause to go down.

I said exactly the same thing to my mate during the game today. I think he’d make a great player coach. Probably already is, imagine him on the training field, can imagine he’s constantly coaching the younger lads whether he’s official defensive coach or not, just the same as he’s not captain but clearly is.

Got to love the way he starts every sentence with “yeah, no “ as well and then talks at one thousand miles an hour without a pause. He’s been a great signing , combined with coughlans defensive coaching and some good young defenders coming through we’ve created a stone wall at the back.

I think craig has been a fine player for us from day one and have argued against his critics from day one. I really hope he gets offered a new deal by the club.
Like any defender he will make a mistake sometimes and then his critics will suddenly return with evidence that they are in fact right about him. But i just think he is a really good defender full stop.

Where I felt he got exposed for pace a lot more. I've also loved seeing the way he's coaching the defenders around him throughout the games. Weird how we look so much better without lockyer. GC really nailed that bit to be fair to him.

Lockyer struggled in league one before craig arrived in my view but looked the part once craig was there. I don't like 3-5-2 but it has worked for us without a doubt and craig, davies, kilgour and menayese have been terrific

I'm delighted that TC is playing so well but for me the big win is Kilgour and Menayese coming through to the first team and by all accounts looking so at home. Obviously TC has played a big part in this so hats off to him and to GC for giving them a chance. Big win for the club going forward.

Has been quality since he joined. Has there been a better centre half since Tillson? Possibly Elliott but I can't think of anyone else. One of our very best free transfer signings.
3-5-2 has probably extended his career to be fair, but yes, get the bloke signed up. Leadership qualities like his aren't easily found. Mansell had them and we missed him when he retired.

Class act and man of the season so far, would like to see him in some kind of development role within the club.

However it won't be until after Christmas, as he wouldn't be so heartless as to put someone out of a job in the week before Christmas.
Next Thursday then.

Tony Craig has been outstanding this season and has helped to bring on his two young 'wingmen' for sure. I truly hope the Suits have the sense to retain him in one form or another when his contract runs out.

I'm the same …. with a sprinkling of Mansell somewhere as well.

A silent about turn from the many who accused Tony Craig of not jumping for some crosses when he first arrived from Millwall. We should be more forgiving towards new Players as they settle in and not get on their backs after one or two mistakes, as none of us are perfect. Well done Tony Craig.
