At this level lee Hughes would be a great signing. In fact, that goes for tubbs too. Shows how DC is on the ball imo and not just bidding in for any old junk. If true.

If they want sub 4,000 crowds then Hughes is the ideal signing.
Much rather have Tubbs, though he's gone massively downhill in the last few years.

Hughes shouldn't even be considered.
Tubbs would be a great signing at this level, and hopefully we could help him find his form again.

I think if the club go ahead with Hughes it will cause major issues and division amongst fans that are not needed ... please dont go for Hughes Rovers!!

I really hope we don't go for Hughes. I pray the journo is wrong on this one.
Tubbs on the other hand would be a superb signing. Proven goalscorer who knows where the net is. If he had had even half the goalscroring opportunities that Matt Taylor has had, he'd be on about 15 goals already.

How can we sack Pipe then bring in Hughes who committed a far worse offence? Would prefer Luke Rodgers who I thought had a decent game against us at the Mem - although he's also seen the wrong side of the law. FGR's bench looked more like a police identity parade that day.

This is what I don't get about FGR.
No red meat and all that sh**, but don't worry about signing ex cons and supporter abusers.
Just wrong.
