We’re being linked to Omar bogle, could be a replacement for jch but his form has been off for a while now so not sure if thats the answer? It would be nice to have 2 tall forwards

Is it more frustration with his own performance that is causing him to behave like that. Does anyone actually know he is unhappy and wants to leave the club?

Wasn't it only a few months ago he was complaining to the press how the fans not getting behind certain players has an affect on the rest of the squad.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we’re asking for too much for jch and that’s why he’s watered off too, Could be sold for £2m but we’re wanting £3m and that’s why he’s even more frustrated

I thought TN was one of our best players today. Fought for the ball and played some nice passes. He also managed to miss a couple of half chances, but then again so did JCH, without any of the redeeming work.

He puts enough posts on his insta account in Rovers shirts etc to suggests he loves the club, possibly more than any other Rovers player, perhaps like some of us he's just frustrated we're now playing so poorly.

Loves the club or himself? I’m told he regularly post pictures of himself scoring goals, not team pictures or images of the lads celebrating? I hope he hasn’t become too big for his boots & is now only satisfied when HE finds the net, regardless of how the team has got on. Not the hallmarks of a team player, at all.

Technically so so good at times.

Let's see how he plays against Coventry, surely he will be fired up against them,a and to be honest at the moment I can't see us getting much for him,not exactly setting the division on fire is he. With every game he plays it becomes more evident that he doesn't want to be here anymore. His competitive attitude has gradually changed to a sulky player with an air of sullenness and exasperation. In employment terms he is serving his notice period. It is commonplace for employees in the workplace who are serving their notice to "switch off" and underperform. it will be a real shame if he leaves us with a tarnished reputation especially after the heroics of last season. I suppose that is one of the differences between JCH and Lambert. He and Cogs were friends I think he feels fed up by what’s gone on these last couple of weeks , most of us do but if that’s why he’s sulking then he needs to snap out of it. Yes his teammates have been poor in the last three games but so has he and if he knuckled down and got on with it he’d be playing better than he has.

Which player does post pictures of themselves celebrating with teammates? Although not sure a picture of him playing Monopoly in a Rovers T shirt he was given for Christmas fits your agenda against him!

I don't think JCH waving his arms in the air and getting on the back of team mates helps anyone. If a good bid comes in then I think the time might be right to let him move on. His body language is not good and provided the money is re-invested wisely then a move might be best for him and the club. By the way he's been reacting to things in the past few games I would suggest that he wants to go and if that is the case then it would be better to sell.

Not sell, but definitely bench. I’d go back to Smith and Nichols up front as against Ipswich and Peterborough. For all the ease with which we can blame Garner for the 1 point from 9 JCH came back for those games too so it could be argued that he doesn’t help us at the moment when he’s not scoring goals (and he isn’t doing much of that either at the moment). Perhaps we are a better team without him? I’d be looking to test that theory. Smith is injured. He was looking on before he got injured as well. Yeah I know he was injured today, but is it serious enough he is already out of our next league game?

I wonder if GC indulged him more than BG is/will? I imagine being told to rein it in even a little bit would rank up the frustration. He has always walked a fine line between competitiveness and petulance. When I've heard him talk after games he's always been critically minded - even after a win. Could be taken as he is desperate to win, which is a quality that is a prerequisite to progress further up the pyramid from our current position. On the other hand it can have an effect on the players around him. The commentary team over the last couple of games keep coming back to that point although I think they've over egged that particular trope. He'll be hard to replace but not irreplaceable. I'm sure BG will have an idea for the type of striker he wants - whether that be a direct replacement or not. If you look at Craig, he does it to the defender's. A lot of teams need player's like that. Like you say though, it can have a bad effect on some player's. A fine line between wanting to win and moaning too much. Craig does it whilst leading by example, not by being pretty standstill and doing nothing but shouting his mouth off and waving his arms around and not putting a shift in

Let's not forget that he's our top scorer with almost double figures in the league and that his contributions last season saved us from relegation. Seems unbelievable that after a few games of not being at his best people are now trying to flog him off. His attitude has been poor and I hope Garner deals with it but we need to keep this guy around as we'll struggle to replace his goals big time. 3 games too soon to write off Garner, but evidently not too soon to write off our top scorer and only hope of regularly scoring goals. Incredible. If BG is going to call in a load of favours from his extensive list of contacts, we shouldn't need to sell our only goalscorer in order to improve the squad no?

I expect that his agent has already got something in the pipeline. Didn’t I read that his agent had been a bit naughty and had been found guilty of a criminal offence? If so JCH probably has a new agent and that might explain some of the frustration JCH obviously has. Pretty sure it was on here a few weeks ago. It might also hold any move up. UTG!
