Coventry (H) Wycombe (A) Tranmere (A) Blackpool (H) Sunderland (A)
How many points out of that can you see us getting? Has Garner turned a corner or will it be much the same?

We have to win the game at Tranmere at least because with our form over the last 10 games, if continued for the next 10, will see us go down. Tranmere, although battered by Manure, will take a lot of motivation, and money, from their cup run. The way things are going, all I'm thinking is that we have to finish above Tranmere to stay up.
Of course a couple or three quality signings could change things immensely, but I'm not confident of that happening at all.

Based on what?
Tranmere have got 6 point in their last 10 league matches so assuming that form continued and we get 0 points from our next 10 matches (and obviously we will pick up some) we would still be on 38 and Tranmere on just 28.
I'm not over the moon with the current form but these hysterics from some are cringeworthy and embarrasing.

Assuming you're talking about the league as that is the competition that decides whether we go down or not, we've managed 10 points over the last 10 league games. 2W 4D 4L. If we end up with 48 points and 7 games left, we will be absolutely fine. Even if we replicated the awful form over the last 5 games and picked up 2 points in every 5 games, we would achieve 45 points at the end of the season and then probably have enough to stay up, given everyone plays 2 less games and Southend and Tranmere seem to be picking up points at a slower rate than us.

Well I never thought we would soon be talking 6 pointers against Tranny when the final whistle went away at Ipswich.
What a capitulation. GC has a lot to answer for imo.

Tranmere have won 5 games all season, Southend 2 and Bolton 4.
They won't suddenly win 6 on the trot to over take us! We will be a L1 team next season.
15 points incoming:)

I don't understand where people are coming from in regards of relegation. It will, statistically, have to be a total capitulation for us not to accumulate enough points to avoid relegation. From what I saw last night this team is not a bunch of quitters.

Don’t know about the next 5 games but I reckon 10 more points will definitely see us safe , probably less. So the big question is can we get those ten 0-0 draws to keep us up.

I see that people feel I'm over reacting - perhaps. The fact remains that if we replicate our form of the last 10 games (all not just league) - which are those since BG came in then we will be far closer to relegation than any of us thought remotely possible at 4.50pm on the 14th of December when we witnessed GC thumping his chest in celebration of our hard fought win at Ipswich. Unless we improve relegation remains a possibility as Tranmere will improve - teams in their position always do in the second half of the season, and they will take motivation and spirit from their cup run. If they beat us in the upcoming game then I will fear the worst.

After seeing last nights conceded goal I cant see many clean sheets occurring.
