So, just Reilly up front til June. What could possibly go wrong there?

Well, if the money is right - in the region of £2m plus add-ons and sell-ons - then it will happen. Just hope BG and TW have something lined up to fill that gap, and the other gaps we so clearly have.

Fully expect shity to come in with a £30,000 offer Sorted that for you Henbury, you had the decimal point in the wrong place you fool! Seriously though this is nothing new really is it, exactly what we we’re all expecting. Hopefully he stays, but if he goes we move on he’s not bigger than Bristol Rovers.

I don’t want him to leave, he’s scored some fantastic goals for us and let’s face it he’s the only player we have currently who can put the ball in the back of the net on a regular basis.
However I can see how it would be tempting to cash on him now it seems the playoffs are becoming an increasingly remote possibility and Garner wants to completely overhaul the squad to get it playing a certain style of football. Getting a big sum of money for JCH, provided it can be reinvested, would certainly allow him to do that.

Realistically, if Championship clubs want him, he’s off as we simply can’t match the kind of wages he’d be offered. I’d prefer he went now than in the summer as he has longer left on his contract and should therefore attract a higher fee.

What's encouraging about this is that it seems there could potentially be a few clubs in for him, which surprises me a little on current forum. A bidding war would be amazing.

Agree about a bidding war being a good thing and we can’t hold the player back if the price is right, however the major negative is the timing. In the past we have had players who have stepped up and scored goals once a player has left, but that is not the case this time and it will be a struggle to replace him at short notice .

First bid in today 1 Mill + Add ons from Charlton according to Sam Frost. Not a bad first offer. I think the writing is on the wall - and fair enough.. he has come in and done exactly what is needed to get himself a better offer up the leagues. Replacing him will be tricky, of course, but this is the life of a League One club...

Stinks of him leaving on Friday with no replacement this. hence the talk of a loan(s) as part of the deal I would suggest As I say Aneke would be a good shout as part of the deal

Stinks of him leaving on Friday with no replacement this. typical rovers would be to await the opening of the loan window and getting 2 youngsters in

Stay JCH!
You know you'll be a flop in the Championship. They always are.
You'll be rich, of course, but that's just vulgar.
