I was born in Fishponds, used to walk to Eastville through the park with Dad. Last week someone put up a pic on FB of the Muller Rd crossroads before the M32 it had the sweet shop we always used to call in before the game in the '50's so thrilled to see that again. I had a stall at Eastville Market for 30 years so spent so much of my time at Eastville. Moved to Paignton then back to Bristol to Downend then seven years ago to High Littleton near Paulton. I love the village life yet it's still near enough to come and watch my beloved team which I do with my son. I've been coming for 64 years and my son for 36 so a culmulative total of 100 years this season.

Born just across the harbour from Portsmouth in G'port - both my Parents were from Bristol - Bedminster area, but my Dad was in the Navy based in Portsmouth. First few months in the Portsmouth area, then Paignton with my Mum and Grandparents for ~ 1 year before Dad left the Navy and we moved to East Harptree. From age 18 there were 4 years in Nottingham at Uni, then work took me to West Sussex - Worthing - in 1981. We've lived in a little village, 15 miles from Worthing and 12 from Chichester in West Sussex since 1987.
I see a few with links to St George - I had a really good mate called Robert Needs from St George but have lost contact - anyone know him?

Who were they Wilmslow? John Hamilton (grandad) - came down from East Fife. ian Hamilton (uncle) - part of the legendary Biggs, Jarman, Mabbutt, Hillard team. Older posters will have a tear in their eye when they remember that team.

He scored one of my fav goals ever, flying header at Eastville I don't know who it was against though. He was a very good player definitely part of Rovers folklore.
