See this a lot on Twitter and other platforms so I just wanted to ask; what are your unpopular opinions on the Gas? Could be about literally anything, I’ll start:
1. Sam Matthews is good enough to become a first team regular 2. Since Garner took over the player who’s dropped the most in quality compared to how they played under GC is Rollin Menayese. 3. Jonson Clarke-Harris will continue to be at the same quality as he’s been under Garner, regardless of whether we let Garner go, as the only manager who can get the best out of him is Graham Coughlan. 4. Since we decided not to sign Joe Lumley we have had 3 better keepers: Jack Bonham, Anssi Jaakkola and Jamal Blackman. 5. Tom Nichols was much better than most give him credit for. He could do everything apart from score goals. I would rank him above every striker we’ve had in the last 2 seasons apart from Clarke-Harris 6. Wael gets way too much stick. He’s done a decent job with us but a lot of our fans have unrealistic expectations. It’s nowhere near as simple as the “just pump money into the club” mindset a lot of us seem to have. He cares about the club, the fans and tries his best, but on issues such as the Fruit Market. The legalities and finance are the issue. Not Wael or the Al Qadi family

The “faithful and true” chant just isn’t true is it? We’ve got a fantastic fan base but attendances will always drop off the back of a few bad performances and season ticket sales reduce after a poor season just like any other club in the Football League.

1. We're better off redeveloping the Mem, stand-by-stand than we would investing in a new stadium (or renting from a developer).
2. There is a really good player in Kyle Bennett - he just needs the proper motivation.

Alfie Kilgour is at best, an average player. Who always has a mistake in him, his decision making at times is terrible. But will remain a fan favourite through sentiment alone. We will acquire better at some stage and it will be down to the manager to make a call that those on the terraces will not like.

You seem a relatively positive poster normally, he has done a great job since breaking into the team this season IMO and agree is a fan's favourite, but not on sentiment alone. Future captain IMO.

Yep agreed corrected a bit for you Alfie Kilgour is at best, an average championship player. Who always has a mistake in him as all young player have, his decision making at times is terrible but mostly its very good. But will remain a fan favourite through sentiment alone after all "He's one of our own". We will acquire better at some stage when he's sold or retires and it will be down to the manager to make a call that those on the terraces will not like.

Woosh Yes I didn't register that it's an unpopular opinion thread. However I still don't agree with it.

Pretty much everything about us is miles behind Bristol City. Certainly more than ever in my life time.

Our midfield are unbelievably creative and no free of the shackles of GC are helping us dominate possession in every match regardless of the score and points gained.

I Like standing on the terraces, and generally the whole match-day experience ....football excluded on many occasions. The sh**ty things just don't seem to bother me that much to the point where I would stop going (e.g. the toilets, the somewhat impaired view of the far end of the ground from the east terrace, the queue for pasties etc etc etc)
However, that said I fully understand the desperate need to move on into the 21st century with a new ground... I'm sure I will love a new stadium, but it won't stop me missing this.

I don't actually think that the home quarters look all that nice and would welcome an all blue strip for a couple of years for a change. Also think it would be a huge seller.
