Was at the service earlier on and was surprised not to see Jamie Carstairs or anyone from TRASH!

Was about to ask if sevice took place. Nice to see the Rovers carrying on the Rememberence Day tradition. Did Bristol Rugby have people there as well?

Radio Bristol did a special feature about the Memorial Ground and its history. Truly moving and they also went live to the ground with the Rugby representatives.

There was an element of irony in the history that it was Cowlin who gave the ground to the Rugby club originally. It was reported that the entire team went as one to enlist for the Great War.

Perhaps Jamie and TRASH representatives were elsewhere paying their respects.
Using this as a political football is dragging yourself down to others level.
Lest We Forget. We will remember them.

Bigjock, you don't have a monopoly on what is right and wrong to post here.
There is no disrespect is advising us that Carstairs thinks so highly of the Mem as a War Memorial that he can't be bothered to attend. Perhaps he DIDNT attend elsewhere.
The guy himself is the one who shows total disregard to the memory of our war heroes, not someone reporting a simple fact.
Nice to see that the club has once again honoured the memory of our fallen. God bless them all.

Perhaps Carstairs was in the car that pulled over behind me in Avonmouth this morning to observe the 2 minutes silence or maybe he was one of the many which drove by ignoring the tribute?

Agreed Holmes, i think we should distance ourselves from throwing stones around occasions like these at The Memorial Ground. We may just get some unwanted mud slung back at us. Lest We Forget.
