I was looking through some photos at work today and spotted a Gas sticker on a kitchen door in a Cardiff Uni hall of residence (Nevern). I paused briefly, muttered a few words of surprise and appreciation then reflected upon the courage of the unknown Gashead potentially exposing themselves to ridicule and physical harm but prepared to stand up for the club they believe in whilst deep in enemy territory. What unexpected places have you seen evidence of our loyal support and have you got the proof?  |

I had a sh!t in Ashton Gate bogs circa 1989 and it stuck to the pan.
So, a sticker of sorts. Does that count?
And.....I never pulled the flush either.
It's probably still there.

Did an Open Uni exam at Ashton Gate, went for a water just to scrawl 'Up the Gas' in the toilets and got a 2:1.

Fortunaltely, or unfortunately (depending on how you look at it) there is not a lot of anymosity from Cardiff towards us at present.

I lived in Bedminster for 3 years and did our best to cover the area in gas stickers. Led to some retaliation from the CSF who covered our wheelie bin in 'Irene is a Slag' stickers

At every yearly Guitar Show, held at Ashton Gate, I play Goodnight Irene as loudly as possible on every guitar I try. I do get the odd acknowledgement or laugh.
