Hmm, preference shares. Interesting.
The last time Bristol Rovers used preference shares it was to gather investment so that they could buy the Mem.
Preference shares are a non-voting share in the company that pays interest, the interest is paid with priority before any other share dividend. I can't remember the terms last time, but didn't they pay something like 6%? Someone should remember, I nearly bought some myself, but didn't have the cash at the time.
I had always imagined that any capital for development would come through some kind of bond, rather than cash directly from Dwane / the family. Could this be a way of structuring new investment? Investors come in on the promise of a fixed return, with potentially other perks like rights to run attached facilities such as hotel or shop units?

The last share says ordinary and says it has full voting. The one that is for over 800,000 shares.

Is it not the share scheme stuff that wasn’t done previously? The bottom one is for over 800,000 though and gives full voting rights etc. Doubt that would be for the share scheme?? My guess is Wael could have bought more as well, so that keep the same percentages. That's just a guess though and it could be someone new all together. Seeing as though half the people on here think they know everything the club do, I thought someone might have known.

Is it not the share scheme stuff that wasn’t done previously? Sounds like the obvious answer the additional shares are 36,600 10p ordinary shares, so yes the obvious answer. Guess the SC can shut up about that now
