Do you think actual programmes will be produced if behind closed doors games are played?
A bit like when a book is published, but they need a certain number of sales to break even, they ask for subscribers.
If one page of the programme listed the names of the subscribers, which helped cover the cost of a smaller than usual print run, I would have thought it was possible?
I'm not sure how much profit the club makes from actual programme sales ( I guess advertising and sponsorship come under another umbrella), but it can't cost £3 to print each one. The SC sell 80% of the programmes for no cost to the club, (The shop and YP sell some and the rest is given to hospitality)so the only cost is MS mate the Plymouth editor and maybe it helps cover some of the media Dept's staff wages.
I would guess there is a contractual obligation to make sure that programmes are produced for the companies that paid for advertising, plus the players sponsors were told they would get mentions in each league game.
Plus as people can't get out it would help fans get their Rovers fix. Imagine if you have no internet as quite a few older fans don't.
There may be fans who want to help financially but don't have masses of money to spend on things like the auction, but could spare £3.90 (programme plus postage). I think there would be a fair bit of demand.

Here's an idea, produce an electronic version, sell it online via club shop for, say a £1, make a bit of revenue, and help fans stay in touch while watching all the televised remaining games. In fact how about an electronic app based programme permanently so removing printing costs.

Personally I rarely buy a programme most of the stuff in it is on line somewhere. Good idea if you have fans that are far away or just cant get to the ground

Gassy. There is now NO obligation by the FL to produce a programme. A few clubs didn't issue anything last and this season.
