After this enforced break. Would it have done BG any good, with getting his ideas over with the squad, and players knowing what he wants. After all he must have had loads of time on the training pitch and talking to players, to get the players use to his methods and strategies.

This is what I was going to say. I'm not sure if we're now back in distance training as the Championship is?

I'd imagine while physical training wouldn't be the easiest thing to do, the squad could set up zoom meetings and talk tactics, watch through matches ect. That side of things wouldn't be too dissimilar to sitting in a room with a big telly at the front with the coaches.

After all he must have had loads of time on the training pitch and talking to players, to get the players use to his methods and strategies. BG has had a big break in my view and to have had this long enforced break off football. The fans will just be happy to have football back once it does, and will forget about the awlful club record worse run as manager he has.It will be a reboot of his career here, and its like he has the chance to start from day one in the job again. I hope it works out of us both.

Not looking forward to matches returning with him in charge. We will be looking at a relegation battle and our success will be determined by how quick he gets moved on.

How do you know we won't get results? GC had a poor start at Mansfield but I doubt he'll be as bad next season. We may as well hope that BG can turn things around rather than decide he can't.

Much the same as the "great messiah" at Walsall, how short some peoples memories can be. I would like to think that the players will be re-invigorated after this enforced break, and buzzing to get going again. Some of the spirit shown in that last game would ensure we were a team to be feared - UTG

Obviously I don't know for sure, I can't see the future. But I'm pretty confident (or flip that round not confident in BG) that this is what's going to happen. He is a Mickey Mouse manager. Stealing a living. Strategy is sound but the wrong manager has been chosen and I can't wait for the nightmare of him being in charge to end.

I hope it works out of us both. Not even that. If and when the season restarts it will be like day one for him and even better if we lose every game we play it will just get blamed on the pandemic. He is literally unsackable for a very long time.

I have every confidence that if we got taken over tomorrow the first thing the new owners would do would be to fire BG. He’s the archetypal bloke in the crowd who won a chance to manage a football team by finding a golden ticket in a bag of crisps. Some of the comments he’s made make him sound very egotistical so he’s hard to warm to even as a person never mind his results. But he isn’t going anywhere for a long time, Wael has been seriously seduced by him it seems.
