Anyone know if we have started any form of training, just incase the season restarts?? Or with a view to next season. Could give Garner a chance to get some ideas across, before next season. Plus can keep on eye on player's fitness etc.

As mentioned in another thread we can’t at the moment because all the players have been furloughed. Not sure about keeping an eye on fitness though, although I would have thought that the club have given the players some sort of basic fitness programme to follow? But there again this is Bristol Rovers! 😁

I believe that the players have been given some fitness guidelines, and there is a small gym at The Mem which can be used.

Wouldn't be surprised to see some clubs start some form of training. A lot gamble with finances anyway.

I’m no expert but I would imagine that it is classed as work, so they could only do individual training?

Self employed can still work and claim the furlough grant money. Employed people can work a 2nd job, as long as they have thier employers permission, so can be better off than normal as well. So didn't know if there was a way of doing it, without messing up the funding.
