Can I ask why this thread has been locked when I explained the reason for posting?

Can I ask why this thread has been locked when I explained the reason for posting? I feel like it's not very classy to discuss the club in terms of a recent death of a relative of the owner. We are all concerned about the club. We're all concerned about money in football. I expect many of us were concerned that changes in the AQ family might affect us. But mostly, I came across your 'f**k off wael' thread coincidentally this morning and wondered whether you'd be back to apologise or tell him to f**k off again, and so, only a few hours later reading your not-so-classy post made me think that maybe you were just out to stir sh** (coz we have quite a few posters who seem to like to stir sh**, and are getting a bit desperate about it, atm). If you didn't come on to stir up some sh**, then I apologise.

I would say it’s very obvious, and didn’t need a second thread concerning it?

It was in bad taste to post a thread discussing this in the first place. Certainly didn't need a second thread posted with the same title.

I respect all the feedback and I must say again I didn't mean to offend anyone and especially the owner of our football club. Yes I can openly admit I didn't think he could deliver financially until the unfortunate passing off his father and I think he would have probably sold to a suitable buyer if not for his loss and I was purely wondering since his recent statements and injection of cash put into the club I wondered what his capital is now? I know its a sensitive subject and I again apologise if it comes across cold hearted.

Lol wut I don't think it's offensive, it's just a fact of life when our loved ones pass. He can't be shy of his wealth when its being spent in such a public way. That said it's better to ask the person in question than a forum full of unknown identities!

People are thinking it’s all inheritance but how about we stand back and look at the perspective. Firstly, we don’t know what personal wealth Wael had prior to his fathers death. Secondly, Wael said he reached an agreement to purchase the shares owned by the family.
Previously the club was owned by “the family” all each taking 30% of the 92% shareholding split between Abdulkader Abdullah, Hani and Wael.
Upon Abdulkaders death his 30% shareholding would have passed to one of his sons, it possibly may have been split equally or perhaps it was gifted to Wael, we don’t know.
Take the scenario that Wael inherits his fathers shareholding, it makes him the majority shareholder. At that point it makes it a fairly easy buy out of Hani’s share. Wael can then do as he pleases.
Assuming it’s split between the 3 brothers 10% each, and Samer who previously has no shareholding gets 10% there is no majority, but Hani decides to sell to Wael anyway. Wael gets to do as he pleases.
How much did Wael have to give Hani? We do not know, that hasn’t been disclosed. Perhaps he hasn’t given anything yet, whatever the arrangement is, it’s not our concern.
What is our concern is that Wael is now our owner, he’s cancelled the debt and building the training ground. Perhaps all of this was what he wanted originally but his shareholding didn’t allow him to make those decisions.
I think it’s pretty classless to make any assumptions or guesses based on what Wael’s father may or may not have bequeathed to him upon his passing. He should be thanked, just like any other former owner, for putting his hand in his wallet to keep the club we all support going and to show his sons some respect and honour of his memory.

Completely support the moderating teams decision to lock the original thread. Wael's father sadly died just a couple of months ago, so it's completely inappropriate, not to mention disrespectful to be having such a discussion on a public forum.
I'm going to lock this thread now as I think you've got your answer.
