Transfer window is July 27th to October 5th for EFL and Premiership clubs.. So I guess we won’t announce any signing until then.

If so I wonder if that means rumours of a September 12th is wrong because I’d be surprised, even with this crisis, that the season would be a month old before the window closed. Could it be a later September or early October start. If so we’re going to have a two games a week season to be finished early enough for the Euros. Club secretaries or rather CEOs now will have a busy time over the next few weeks. UTG!

If Sam Frost/@efl_Hub keep on printing names of players who are apparently about to sign for us then it's going to be a very long transfer window.

Only announce out of contract players like OC by the looks of things, not players still receiving severance pay, I guess Nicholson falls under the former heading?

If they do the same with the Efl Trophy I guess they could fit all the games in?

If they start the league on September 12th and need to play a bunch more midweek fixtures to complete all the games, I just can't see how they're going to fit all those meaningless EFL trophy group stage fixtures into the schedule. Better off not playing it really. I hope they keep the league cup though, I might be in a minority but I quite enjoy seeing us come up against teams we wouldn't normally do at the start of the season and it's usually our best chance of playing City nowadays.

I've never seen that suggested, all I've seen suggested is that the top 7 Premiership sides might not take part as they'll be playing in the Euro games, the last suggestion being the League cup 1st round would be played on the 5 Sept during the International break weekend. Not sure what's happening with the EFL Trophy but it's a good money spinner for EFL clubs and so I doubt they'll turn that down when they need every £ they can get next season.

Has to be sanctioned by FIFA and there may be a extra 2 weeks for just domestic transfer, ITK on this one........it’s on the bbc sports page.
