This bloke, who must have wondered why he bothered with us after some of the vile abuse he's received from a few, in the terraces and within his own pay role, needs a round of applause.
Well done chap.

Yes indeed, without the family burden he can be a proper Gashead and live his dream. It's clear he's passionate and not afraid to take a risk. As a person he's proved what we all thought, but at times we were confused, that he is genuine. We need to reign in the negativity from the Supporters and Presidents clubs now if any still exists and go forward at long last.

I think what we all need to remember, is that unless you're worth mega billions, things take time. And it all needs to be done right. We all expected new Training Facilities, new Stadium within a few months. But, whilst clubs have been going through awful hardship over the past 4 months, Wael has started on the Colony, news of the FM, and bank rolled some good signings.

Whoa ..... let’s not all turn into a bunch of sycophants . These signings might be great but they also might be bloody awful. Wael has had a great start to his reign ( on his own) but let’s save the statue for when he delivers the new stadium and gets us in the Prem.

And I think he deserves a bit of respect regardless of new Ground. And Premiership?

I can hold my hands up and honestly say I had been in 2 minds regarding Wael for a while
Mainly because of the scenes of him being carried down Gloucester Road, when he didn't actually contribute anything to that, really, all the press falsely claiming him & his family were billionaires(Not his fault of course), pulling out of the UWE deal, strange press releases, the people he appointed, i.e Hamer, the selfies with Lionel Messi, John Terry and a host of others, selling players for far less than their worth, sacking DC, decline in our league positions 3 years on the trot, the lack of information and action regarding the training ground, the strange Coughlan departure, The 20+ million pounds of debt the club had etc. Although I always felt he was a decent bloke with the clubs interests at heart, I did have my doubts.
It looks like now though that his "Evolution not Revolution" quote when he first arrived is now coming to fruition, what with the progress and building work started with the training ground, the finances Wael has now put in to essentially make us debt free, the signings of Grant, Baldwin and Ehmer and although we've been here many times before the stadium we so desperately need imo anyway, looks like it could be very soon on the horizon as well.
I am now more optimistic about our future than I have been for a very long time.

Perhaps a partnership deal is further down the line than we’ve been told, all tied in with a stadium deal. I’m not demanding to be told because, at the end of the day it’s none of my business, and if keeping new money under wraps means we don’t have to pay over the odds for players because agents aren’t aware of the true situation then good business sense I’d say.

Just as a matter of interest did Wael ask to be carried down Gloucester Road? I’ve seen it mentioned a few times and wondered how that conversation went.
