I think wael brought a lot of the stick he got on himself. The collapse of the UWE with no plausible explanation. Tumbleweed at the training ground and a massive loss in the accounts.
Things look much brighter now despite the virus and communication has massively improved but i hope we don't just run up another massive debt without any progress on and off the pitch going forward.

Completely agree he did bring it on himself. All is forgiven in this bizzare relationship with the club. Hero to zero to even bigger hero

If our season gets off as per usual etc. Is there an Emergency Gas Board number we can call up?
We tend to have poor starts but hopefully with the team sorted before the season starts, it will be different this time? Here’s to 2020 vision!

4 signings now which all must of been number 1 targets.Absolutely gobsmacked with Waels change of direction to be honest. The man is really going for it! Thanks Wael!

Absolutely spot on, no man has ever done more for our club I would argue that the Dunfords did more and with considerably less resources Well, they were truly amazing!

Far too easy to come now, on the back of 4 signings and other good news, and point fingers at people as if you were "right all along". As if Wael's tenure so far was some sort of misunderstood genius work, and all we needed to do was just shut up and watch it all unfold.
I do, obviously, agree that some of the criticism went too far or was misguided. But you can't just spit on my face and tell me it was just rain. There were A LOT of potholes in the road so far and many of them had Wael to blame in some capacity. It's not like we were in the Champions League or anything, you know?
All's well that ends well, this new arrangement with Wael as the sole lead has been promising, he's backing his statements with actions, I'm thankful and willing to give him another shot. Cool. Just don't bullshit me, that's all.

I get what you’re saying but perhaps now he’s in sole charge what’s happening now is what he always wanted but couldn’t deliver for whatever reasons. My concern had always been a lack of communication not the lack of a ground or even training facility. But we are where we are and it now seems a far better place. I’d like to get to the Championship obviously but not desperately. I just see what’s happening at the moment as an improvement on what we were. The new players appear to be a step up to what we had but only time will tell me if that’s true. I’m not sure much cash has been flashed, more a case of getting some very big wage earners out and newer big wage earners coming in. Not too sure if there’s a big overall difference in wages. I hope there is in quality. The training ground is more important imo, it makes us appear less rag-bag (not that I’ve ever really worried about that) and a more serious contender for doing well. Blimey even Wareham Rangers have their own training facilities! I hope we will challenge and compete and play some attractive football that our loyal fans want to see. Be a serious challenger for the play offs would be great. If we ultimately fail I’d be disappointed but I would just like to be in contention. UTG!

I don’t know baggins is the honest answer. We’d have a couple of years, if we survived the first, to convert to all seater. But apart from that and looking crap what else would we need to do. We’ve not been that close to warrant looking into it have we? UTG!

This is Brentfords 5th year in The Championship and they haven't made any improvements to Griffin Park, work started on their new stadium in 2017. Griffin Parks capacity is exactly the same funnily enough as The Mem. Granted it's got more seats and zero tents though. I am sure we'll be fine playing in The Championship at The Mem, short term.

We'd have 3 seasons to sort the ground out one way or another (new stadium or tents) as per EFL rules. 1.4 Each Championship Club shall, with effect from the start of its fourth Season in the Championship, only admit spectators to seated accommodation, and there shall be no standing terraces.

I reckon Wael is receiving financial assistance from another source. Perhaps a partnership deal is further down the line than we’ve been told, all tied in with a stadium deal. I’m not demanding to be told because, at the end of the day it’s none of my business, and if keeping new money under wraps means we don’t have to pay over the odds for players because agents aren’t aware of the true situation then good business sense I’d say. I've heard he's got a window cleaning round on the side So we should get a bit more transparency.

When people say nobody has done more for this club than Wael I’d like to remind them that had the Dunfords not bought the Mem when they did we would not have a club now. Having said that, Thankyou Wael for all you are doing for the club now and long may it continue.

Still, doesn't hurt to day dream on a sunny Wednesday afternoon does it. Are we? Perhaps but in my post I was saying that although it’s a good start I’m not thinking that we will now get promotion. I will be happy with a good season, some good football, perhaps be in with a go at the play offs. Im not sure we are miles away from it. If Wycombe can do it so can we. Doesn’t mean we will but in football terms, get a good squad, be hard to beat and play well we have a chance. I think you’re talking about our ground not being ready and of course you’re right but that hasn’t stopped Burton, Brentford, and Wycombe form getting there. Staying there and establishing yourself is far harder. But in all honesty we are only one good season away from the Championship, as are other clubs are but we’re a long, long way away from having stuff to establish ourselves there. But yes, nothing wrong with a dream to do it.😃 UTG!

There is no moral high ground to be had from any side.
The first 3 years were full of errors, board room struggles, clashes of egos an attempt at some form of coup and also a lot of money was wasted. I could understand the frustration of many but some of the things that were said and done by some people associated with the club were despicable. I’m glad those days have gone.
However Wael always said he was committed to us and would do right by us and he is proving it. The slate has been wiped clean in every way, this is a big chance for us to reset as a club, bigger than when we got promoted back into the league and if every fan gets behind it then I have no doubt we will push upwards.
