Goes to show that if we keep it on the floor the defenders in this league won't deal with us. Hoof it all day long and it's easy for them.

If we don't sign a striker before Saturday then we must start with Harrison and Taylor up front.
We are so predictable lumping it forward up to Brunt and White hasn't done enough to keep his place yet. Taylor and Harrison are much more mobile and cause the opposition more problems.
(The only other option is trying Monkhouse up top if he is back but then we will probably just lump it up to him).

I know that probably says a lot about our strikers but that much I'm positive of.

LDV has to stay on the left and we need a right winger with a right foot!

I'd start Brunt & Harrison upfront. Brunt did a lot of work up there Saturday but very little support killed everything he tried. Maybe Ellis could be his "run on" man?

Why would anybody not start Taylor after his second half performance?? I'd try Bruntfrom the subs bench this week as it's clearly not working for him stating

No target man and ball on the deck ASAP or we'll continue to struggle up front.

It simply has to be Harrison and Taylor if no-one else comes in. Our best two strikers and ball kept on the deck more aswell as actual mobility which we didn't have at the start on Sat

I'm hoping that with someone along sidehim who can anticipate a nod on or a feed through ball, Brunts efforts won't all be for nothing. If we're going to continue with this lobbing it forward all the time, which let's face it, we still seem to be doing, you need a target man up front. Whatever works I guess.

Yeah, just not convinced Brunt is the same player as before his injury. Shame Cunnington has gone to be honest.

Thing is if you look at our goals this season how many have come from a hoof down the middle and a flick on by the target man ? How many have come from putting a few low passes together. ?

I can vaguely remember what I did yesterday. Most of our goals have come from tidy moves or decent long shots from the edge of the box or further out. We did score one from a long ball against Dorchester but I can't think of any others.

All my nephews can remember games we played, where we played them, who scored, the name of the pub we drank in before the game, who fell over in the car park, all that, me, I can't remember any of that sort of stuff. 45 and senile. And I've just fouled myself. Nurse!

I have a pint though. Maybe that's my problem. Is drinking a problem?
