I thought he may be the one to leave on loan when we got a new striker in but I never expected him to leave permanently. Good luck to him and hopefully this means our incoming striker is iminent.

Oh dear. That didn't last long! Saturday was obviously his last chance then and he blown it by the sounds of things.

don't see why it's considered a very bad signing.
it didn't quite work out. so he moves on. at no cost to us. I'm fine with that. If every signing we made was perfect we wouldn't be in non-lge.
Imagine if we had Paulo di canio as boss that year he got Swinedon promoted. Forums would be in meltdown because players literally came and went with the wind until he got it right. Cost a lot of money but they easily won the league.
shame it didn't succeed as I thought he'd be great for us. But I'm glad it's permanent rather than messing around with loans etc, and then all the speculation of how much of his wages are being paid, and whether we should recall him if he's banging in goals at a lower level.
frees up wages and a squad slot.

It was a bad signing made at minimal risk. Low wages and short term. That for me at least is progress.

A "bad signing" or simply a signing which didn't work out? White scored 5 goals in a similar number of games towards the end of last season and so it can't be just a case of him not regaining his fitness. Good luck to him in the futre at least he didn't try and hold the club to ransom like Kenneth, now that is what you call a bad signing!

Does this mean there's going to be a good Friday agreement and we sign Easter

Good luck to him. What a welcome change for a player to move on without holding us to ransom!
Real shame it didn't work out; I must say that I'm surprised - when we signed him in the summer I thought he's be our main striker!
Surely this can only mean that we'll have a new striker in before our next game as we're bare bones as it is.
Exciting times possibly...

Does this mean there's going to be a good Friday agreement and we sign Easter or it could be White wanted to accept the offer he'd got from Sutton whilst he had chance? if we don't sign somebody this week then we are back to relying upon Brunt & Taylor for goals!

My source at the club, Head Pasty Chef Boris Drainpipe (43) says we are looking at a promising Russian youngster Viktor Shotshie and Spanish vetran Carlos Misalotti as a replacement.
