Idiot question as never used ifollow. I can see to pay on the fixture page of OS, but do i access the stream there Access it from there or via club's app on a mobile device, it's fairly easy to cast it to your TV if you want to watch the game on a bigger screen. I tend to set it up 15 mins or so before the game starts, just to make sure it's all working as iFollow usually broadcasts the BBC Saturday Sport build up before the game. I'm certain that you cannot cast ifollow. I tried casting it to my TV last season and it wont work. I emailed them and they confirmed you cant cast it. I dont think you can get it on Xbox either. There is no work around that I'm aware of other than plugging your TV into your laptop to use as a monitor perhaps?

Thats my plan anyway

I've even cast from my Android phone when the battery's ran out on my laptop.

Worked fine for me. Failing that using a HDMI cable to link your TV and Laptop usually works.

Just a thought, I wonder if the price for streaming the EFL trophy tie with Walsall on the 8th September will be reduced, as it would be if we could attend the game in person, or will we be charged £10.
I know we are all desperate to see some competitive action so it will be interesting to see the pricing structure for the game as they may decide to 'cash in', which I will have no problem with I just want to see some competitive football.
It will also be interesting to see if they announce the number (attendance) of streams once up and running, will the EFL boycott be strong after 6 months without seeing a competitive Rovers match?

Brighton vs Chelsea friendly had a crowd of 2,500 as a trial? You would have thought they would have trialled somewhere smaller and with less infections? But as usual, when it comes to “good” trials, the South East is first in line but when it comes to anything not advantageous it is tried elsewhere?
Let’s see what the outcome of this trial will be and when? Maybe VAR can help?

Let’s see how many West Country L1/L2 matches Sky broadcast live. If they do, it saves £10 on iFollow if you have Sky?

UTG Have you seen the photos from the match there's one showing fans all just sat a seat apart all in rows, if the person next to or behind them as CV19 and sneezes or coughs you may as well be sat next to them, plus every fan had to wear a mask outside the stadium but none appear to be wearing them inside, surely you can't pass the virus just walking near somebody? Watching Rovers on iFollow may be a better option this season, particularly if you to travel any distance to watch a game.

I have been wary of being too close to strangers over the last few months but still have to go shopping, pub club to watch BT Sport Champions League, petrol station, garage, etc. These all carry a risk. If away fans are allowed eg. Ipswich, then I will definitely go. Sunderland is a defo yes if allowed. Under normal circumstances we would take a 1,000+ but this virus year plus the massive changes at our club plus the lack of Gas league football means I will go if given the chance. But I may be a bit more cautious at the game, e.g. Fully cover myself, take my own hot drink and food, etc.
£10 on iFollow or £80 to attend, home or away for me on average!
PS It will be interesting if partial crowds are allowed at home; will season ticket holders lucky enough to then have the choice attend or choose iFollow? I usually prefer to stand on Terrace at home so easy to keep one's distance?

Watching Rovers on iFollow may be a better option this season, particularly if you to travel any distance to watch a game. That looks weird. We were allowed back to watch football here in Australia. We were allowed to book blocks of seats. Supposedly family & close friends.
Every other row was free, but there people sitting next to eachother in some rows.
I canceled my ifollow this season. I wasn't sure I could be bothered to get up at midnight or 2am. I was also missing a few midweek games due to work. I would probably have still got it if I could watch the whole game. But in the past when I clicked on full match, the next thing that comes up is the result. Then at the bottom of the screen there's a timeline of the match. So you see how it's going to go. Pathetic. I'd like to be able to sit down and watch the whole game without knowing the score.

On a side note, I wonder how many people will still use a VPN to buy an overseas pass at £140 rather than having to pay £10 a game?
