Have you seen the photos from the match there's one showing fans all just sat a seat apart all in rows, if the person next to or behind them as CV19 and sneezes or coughs you may as well be sat next to them, plus every fan had to wear a mask outside the stadium but none appear to be wearing them inside, surely you can't pass the virus just walking near somebody? Watching Rovers on iFollow may be a better option this season, particularly if you to travel any distance to watch a game. Look again Topper, the fans are sat 4 seats apart. Unless there's something wrong with my eyesight, then there's loads of fans sat just a sit apart to the sides and with fans sat in seats directly behind each other in the photo?

I've just mailed Tom Gorringe suggesting we put info re how to get access especially season ticket holders and technical issues etc on the official site hopefully before Saturday. As a season ticket holder, do you have unlimited access to a quill and an ink well using voucher codes, or do you pay £10 for the privilege on a match by match basis?

The club need to explain what they are doing for season ticket holders for games played behind closed doors, if you've got an adult stand ticket it'll be a cheaper option to have accept a full refund and then pay £10 for a match pass. Although we're still 3 weeks away from our first home league game anyway.

I am sure even BRFC will want to confirm the connectivity arrangements before the first home game; connecting the lap-top to the tv is easy, just need a access code which links to your season ticket.

Where do you get the access code? From the club when they get around to sending them out? Get ready for the "anybody had an access code/I haven't had my access code" posts in a couple of weeks

Where do you get the access code? For home games, those eligible will receive the access code from the club, those who are not, (non season ticket holders) can pay the £10 fee. This information is on the club website. Free access will only be for Home League games; all fans will be able to pay for Cup and Away league games on a match per match basis. Obviously those season ticket holders that take up any opportunity to attend home games will not receive the access code. "If fixtures during the 2020/21 season are to be played behind closed doors, or if fans are unable to attend because the capacity is reduced to a point where we can’t accommodate all season ticket holders, then Season Ticket holders not attending will receive a code to watch matches on the iFollow service."Whilst not specifying how this code will be received, it is most likely to be via e-mail.

Just to clarify you will only get the home games as part of your ST. You will need to pay a tenner for anything else Including cup games

I’m kind of hoping they will offer an ifollow away pass to make away games, which will have to be purchased by season ticket holders and non season ticket holders alike, a little bit cheaper. I know I’ll probably be tempted to get the £10 pass every time to be honest, which will end up being a bit expensive.

Doesnt any of the money from ifollow away matches go to the home team as well? if so rovers will not be able to offer a discount

Its probably something like £100 per match to £10 per match. Having said that it feels a little rotten talking like this when Wael has just forked out so much to keep our club afloat and we are all discussing saving £20 here and there for ourselves.

One of you get the live stream, the others bring the beer? That's the issue they'll be no money for beer if you're all just getting an iFollow code, however, I'm sure the club said they refund season ticket holders if the games were played behind closed doors. Plus some fans might not be able to use iFollow my mum and dad certainly wouldn't have been able to fathom it out, when most of us usually have some kind of issues. I still don't get why EFL clubs can't offer blocks of games, at say £5 match for 10 games. Not sure many will fork out £80 for all October's fixtures!

Then there is something wrong with your eyesight! The fans are not sat directly behind each other, there's an empty seat between them which then allows 3 empty seats (4 apart) horizontally. They are arranged O O O F O O O F O O O F O O O F F O O O F O O O F O O O F O O F O O O F O O O F O O O F O O Geddit!

I've just mailed Tom Gorringe suggesting we put info re how to get access especially season ticket holders and technical issues etc on the official site hopefully before Saturday. Today's reply from Tom Gorringe... Hi Alan, Good to hear from you and thanks for the below. As mentioned on this thread, Inplayer was just used for the pre-season friendlies as iFollow wasn’t available bur every game from now will be on iFollow. As stated, home and away games will be streamed with home matches free for season ticket holders. Away games and home purchases for those without a season ticket will be charged at £10. The purchase is made on your account so you can watch it on any device, however I find it works best through a laptop connected to a TV via a HDMI cable. More information will be released to supporters on this in the build-up to games as well as emailed to all of those that have given us permission to do so. If there are any further questions or you need anything else, please do not hesitate to contact. All the best, Tom Gorringe Commercial Director

I'm guessing the first purchase is a cable with a usb connection that goes into the laptop, with an hdmi at the other that goes into the tv? Amazon?

If you are lucky your laptop will have an HDMI out port and it will just be a standard HDMI cable.
To use a USB port to HDMI it would have to be usb-c type, not the older type - not sure if all USB-C ports support video output.
Another option is to get something like a google chromecast ( £30 ish ) - plug that in your TV hdmi port and your android phone or Google chrome browser on PC or Chromebook will all you to select "cast" and pick the device - your display then gets mirrored on the TV.
Lots of options, some will work better than others. Simplest perhaps is a laptop with a HDMI port out and plug it straight into TV. Newer laptop might be able to the same via USBC.
