Well done Dan neatly missing the whole point of the thread and highlighting a single comment about JVS, did you actually pay £10 to watch the match yesterday? As far as a striker why would any decent striker with a bit of ambition sign for us now this week, when we look relegation candidates. Daly's an odd one, as how can a sickness bug keep you out of action for weeks. To be honest I stopped reading once you had said he was Man of the match 😂. Rodman was out with illness for the same amount of time. Depends what they had. It can take a long time to feel normal, if you have a virus for a week. It's bad enough walking around after, let alone being able to sprint. Hopefully they will both be in contention on Tuesday. Rodman had an ear infection, and was suffering badly from vertigo. Ben said that Daly has been able to do more training than AR, so hopefully he'll be back on Tuesday.

First post for a while Two points to start with 1. Did anyone expect us to win yesterday 2. Was that the likely starting line up next week - I doubt it If we think it’s bad I wonder after an expected defeat how Norwich, Birmingham, Swansea, Peterborough, Sunderland and Cardiff fans are feeling That’s relegation from the championship and L1 already sorted As we're talking about perspective then have Norwich, Birmingham, Swansea, Peterborough, Sunderland, Cardiff got a manager with as bad a record managing them as we have? Ipswich are no world beaters by the way. We're making them sound like we played one of football's elite. Let's not forget we beat them away at the end of GC's reign.

So did you actually watch the match? Yes I did. How else did I know what happened. After the goal the defence dropped off further. Leaving gaps all over the pitch. That's what happens when your keeper sticks to his goal line. He's handling was actually ok and he can make basic saves. But he's slow off his line, which gave them the lead. Obviously the more compact we are, the harder it is for the other team. As we dropped off, when we won the ball back, we didnt have many options and we struggled to get in behind, as we were playing in our own half. Personally I don't like this formation. The midfield two seem isolated. That might change with a number 9 or if we are able to press higher. A number 9 won't be put off after one performance. If they believe in their ability, they will back themselves to help change it. Plus if they are getting a pay rise, they won't care. One or two player's can make a big difference. Can put a team on the front foot, instead of the back foot. So far Garner has been no way near good enough. He has to prove himself soon.

We will be challenging playoffs this season. I honestly don’t see it. It would be astonishing if Ben Garner turned this form around. There’s been nothing for me to suggest we will be anything other than relegated at the end of the season. People talk about how great it was against Cardiff. We lost that game as well. If we are pinning our hopes on a preseason game that we lost against a team who were beaten 3-0 yesterday by a side in our division then I fear some people are going to be disappointed. I will eat humble pie if BG turns it around but unfortunately I just don’t see it.

I've little confidence in BG but it seems a bit early to say we'll be relegated based on one League cup game against a team who are likely to be challenging for a top 6 place come May.

I can always accept a defeat away and especially to a club like Ipswich. But like you guys have already said was BG watching a different game to us. He also got me worried in the fact that IMO that was our strongest back 3... To be fair he was watching a different game to us , we were sat on our sofas and he was in the stadium !
