Does anyone remember this show from the 80s?
Roger Malone would interview a former player and show highlights from a memorable game with the two discussing it. It alternated between City, Rovers and Swindon.
So in that spirit (and aside from the obvious ones like 2nd May 1990 or the Dagenham match) which game would you like to see repeated and which player would you have in to be interviewed?
The Sunderland match where we won 4-0 with Kenny Hibbitt being stretchered off is one I'd look at. It seemed to kick-start the Francis era eventually leading to a play off final and the championship in later seasons.

All I know about Roger Malone is what was sung about him at Twerton. If however I could see a match repeated it would be my first ever game in April 1976 against Southampton as a 10 year old sat in the North Stand with my Dad. With Frankie Prince interviewed .

Never seen footage of the foul on Hibbitt but it was reported to be a shocker, I think it was Armstrong? Pretty much ended his career. A bit like now Sunderland arrogantly thought they were better than third tier.

Bristol rovers v Doncaster 3-0 home win about 1982,ish with Terry Cooper as manager

Rovers 3 Notts County 2 in 1989. A great start to a successful season, and Vaughan Jones scored with a free kick from near enough the half way line

Malone used to do interviews with Godsiff. Both were very animated and demonstrative. Their heads moved about a lot. Mate of mine remarked that if they weren't careful they'd nut each other to death.

Forgot that it was the game where one of their players got stuff thrown at him after he had given the popular side a bit of stick

Rovers 5 Charlton 5 at Eastville 😉 The days of Stuart Taylor flicking on front post corners causing havoc Why we don’t try this now and again with the height we have in the side baffles me
