It’s another big test for us. Another draw would be a great result.

Only 3 players played tonight that started their opening league game against Wigan.

Another tough game, I'd be happy with a draw. New signing(s) on the scoresheet would be excellent.

I'm confident with this one.
With Anssi in goal and if we dont get injuries during the game eg Hanlan and Leahy.
I think we can get 3 points

1 or 3 pts - both would be a useful start to the season. I hope we can use that league cup defeat as a huge motivation to put things right against them on Saturday.

That’s the reason this is an interesting barometer of where we are at the moment. The result almost doesn’t matter so much but if we look a more robust side on Saturday than the one that got knocked out of the league cup then we have reason to be hopeful for the season ahead,

I think it will help having no travelling, with all the Covid rules in place I can’t imagine it’s very relaxing or good travelling to games at the moment and the last 2 weekends has been to Sunderland and Ipswich, both large journeys. Where as Ipswich haven’t travelled at all this season so far in all comps, think we could go for all three on Saturday.

They certainly won’t know what to expect after we played them with no striker last time out!
Maybe it was Ben’s masterstroke? Get knocked out, bamboozle them with line-up, they play the extra game mid-week, we smash them in the league fixture and everyone’s a winner

I would think snatch your hand off for a point. We showed a different side to our game under Garner on Saturday , ugly and defensive which got us a hard earned point. If we can do the same on Saturday , that’ll be great !!! So on that head says another 1-1 draw heart says 3-1 gas !!!!

We looked a completely different side with and without Hanlan against Sunderland, and him going off started the backs to the wall second half of the game to a certain extent. It'll depend on whether he's fit as far as the game plan will be.
If Hanlan plays most of the game, then I reckon 2-0 to the Gas, otherwise 2-1 to Ipswich 😕
