Am I the only one who thinks cost shouldn't come in to it? Sure, we might lose a bit more money allowing 1000 fans in but let's face it we are losing money with no attendances anyway and a whole point of a pilot test is trialling getting some fans back in the stadium to see if in the future larger attendances in the ground safely. What's more just having 1000 fans in the ground is a step in the right direction and honours the commitments to 1000 ST holders to show them live sport. Hope being part of the trial is considered in future home games going forward. Think is, do you get food and drink outlets open for a 1000 supporters Other clubs have been taking food and drink to their fans.

Following yesterday match I would urge Mr Starnes to reconsider opening the gates to a selected 1000 supporters. Clearly that little support may/would have given some players a lift. Enough to consider. Our fans I suggest would easily self conduct their behaviour and probably enough would not be adverse to being temporary stewards, turnstile persons, unpaid and not subject to any Health and Safety as volunteers. Please don't dismiss the chance. Speak to Forest Green. Am I being nieve.

I've got stewarding certificates, first aid, health and safety, and the like (not that they're worth much, but they started out my events career). I'd love to pitch in matchday if it helped keep the costs down and the doors open.

Do we need to wear masks if there is no Gas attack?

Have to agree at some point the club has to let fans back into the ground, cost shouldn't really be a factor for trial games or we'll never get back to watching games. Using that logic we'd probably play all future EFL Trophy games behind closed doors! As far as food and drink if that's an issue cost wise, I can't see how it is, then I can survive for 2 hours without a drink or pasty!

Never understood the logic of eating and drinking as much as you can during a game.

No guarantee that if Starnes did apply that we would have been selected. I wonder how they would have selected the 1000 from the 3000 odd ST holders? A raffle? Age? Length of time as ST holder?

No guarantee that if Starnes did apply that we would have been selected. I wonder how they would have selected the 1000 from the 3000 odd ST holders? A raffle? Age? Length of time as ST holder? ST Holders have been surveyed, and that could be an easy guage of take-up for provisional arrangements. I'm wondering also if the club could ask and organise a volunteer matchday crew. If enough people were willing to *pitch* in, would it be worth the club trialling 2 or 3 dates with zero staff cost, and potentially an easy decision on ticket allocation? 3 Saturday fixtures in a row for example... Volunteer wise, if the question was asked, a team could be trained as part of a trial plan to say we have X volunteers who have been briefed and trained at the ground prior to the dates. Giving enough time for ticketing. I'm sure 1 in 3 ST holders could make a date over 3 weekends and the club could coordinate that fairly. Bit of a ramble, Sundays are the new Saturdays 🍻 UTG!
