Read allegedly AFC Wimbledon are only expecting 200k for him as his contract is up at the end of the season, champ clubs looking at him, that is a bargain and makes JCH fee more digestible. Probably not the player Ben looking at though.

Like you said though probs not a BG man and we already got our number 9 now, so cant really see us getting another one. Think the 2 more transfers will probably be a left sided / left footed winger/midfielder and backup for Westbrooke, so a younger developing technically good passer? I still find it a bit strange that Hiwula has not yet signed for anyone... gonna be a strange one for who ever gets him as he is a fairly good player but how long without a team/training etc

Piggott is strong and a good finisher started at Charlton so I wonder whether Ben and john know him already?

Forget it, locally to me Swansea are looking at him as well as Reading. Source the local paper.

He would be ideal for the system we play but I can’t see it if I’m honest, I can’t see us stumping up that kind of money when we’ve got Hanlan and why would he want to join us anyway with us so low in the table and AFC Wimbledon just about to move into a shiny new stadium?

I think it would take the greatest Salesman in history to convince someone to come to bottom of the table League One Bristol Rovers who play in one of the worst stadiums in England When there are Championship sides with bigger budgets interested.

If we give them 300k do you reckon they’d take Bennett as well?

How can Piggot by only worth £200K when he looks to be heading for a Championship side, when we apparently bagged £1.2m for JCH from just another L1 side, unless somebody added £1m by mistake when they first reported his transfer fee??

Add the fact that at the moment no in-coming player would be confident that the manager they sign for will be there in a few weeks time. And we all know that when managers change players they brought in aren’t always the most secure. So unlikely that Pigott would come to us. Good player mind you. At the moment rumours about us signing players comes across as clutching at straws, “we’ve lost again so let’s sign another player, that will make it better...” Why sign another forward when we have Ayunga, Hanson and the youngsters? He rarely plays two together, it’s almost a distraction. It just seems at the moment that it’s a very strange time, a kind of limbo when we are, as fans, waiting for the inevitable, with no confidence that he will turn it around. UTG!
