Tristan Abrahams Strong, quick, can hold the ball up well, or run in behind. Can develop further too. I think there is two deadline dates one which ends on the 5th and another ending on the 16th. There are certain rules from 5_16th but loans are a possibility. Any fee signings must end tomorrow night !

Can people forget Ogogo for two reaons- one he wasn't that good but more importantly there is no way back from not being in the squad at all. He is as good as gone. Err he helped keep us up, and in a few months time we might wish he was back

I thought BG said he would be working with a first team squad of 20 this year. Well it's 25 at the moment (again too many players for a club our size).

I sense (with nothing to back it up) that three minimum will be on their way either out on Loan or Full time ...we can all guess on who they might be.

I would like to see us bring in Marcus Browne on loan from Middlesborough ... Did very well at Oxford last season and apparently cant get regular game time.
Funnily enough Twitter are saying he might be available.... I rarely get any right without help so no chance of it happening.

Any fee signings must end tomorrow night ! International transfer deadline tonight, domestic deadline on the 16th from my understanding I find this hard to understand but this is from the BBC website: The window will shuts on Monday, October 5 at 11pm – deadline day. A domestic-only window will continue, however, until October 16. Transfers between Premier League clubs will not be able to occur during this period, but top-flight sides can trade with EFL clubs and loan or sign players permanently up until October 16. Does that mean that a premier league only window is open until Oct16 - so we can still sell players to the prem and get players from the prem on loan etc?

That reads as if Premiership clubs can't sign players from overseas or between them but otherwise clubs in the EFL still can.

I agree. Best player I saw at our place a few years ago and yet Walsall didn’t play him too much? The other one was Ruben Lameras; gifted for Plymouth and ran rings around us away when we drew 2-2 with Reilly scoring in last few minutes. Believe he is back in Portugal now. Up The Middle UTG

I’d quite like a 18-year old on loan from Crystal Palace with no league experience at all.
That way I won’t be disappointed.

It would be great to get both a central midfielder and a striker. But it strikes me that we appear to have a large squad already. At this stage, we need to be getting rid of some players that are in essence surplus to requirements. These departures will free up some employment costs and reduce the number of players on the books.
Additionally, any acquisitions need to be ready to walk into the first team. We don't need any more squad players. We need quality players who will immediately strengthen the team. Otherwise, what's the point?
