Surprised there's been no mention of the draw on the OS or Bristol Live website, not sure what happens if we get drawn away, fans wise, the home team, if it's below National league(?) level can have home fans but away fans are banned? It's anybody's guess if the tie will be screened live on TV, if it's not selected by BT Sport, as we can't normally watch FA Cup games on iFollow.
The draw for the first round will take place at around 7:10pm on Monday, 26 October live on BT Sport ahead of the televised fourth qualifying round tie between Bishop's Stortford and St Albans City.
It will also be streamed on the FA Cup's official Facebook and Twitter channels.

The FA Cup without fans in grounds feels like a total non-event, to me.
No potential of taking 6/7/8k Gasheads to Anfield or Old Trafford, no sell-out if we draw a big club at the Mem, and presumably far less financial reward for any EFL club who does manage to put together a run in this year’s competition.
Rubbish. Sack it off.

How would a great cup run feel this year....? It feels different from the league as there’s some impact for the following season with a good league finish. The fa cup does feel a bit pointless without spectators

Feel sorry for the likes of ‘Cray Valley Paper Mills’ and ‘Banbury United’ who will have to play a dream tie against a league one or league one side behind closed doors without being able to share the experience with their fans or being able to profit from gate receipts.
The FA cup this season just feels like a poor version of the league cup.

Fancy someone new and unknown away just for the novelty of losing live on the BBC.
Cups are rubbish, let's concentrate on winning the league.

Knowing our luck we’ll probably get Doncaster away!

Thanks for the information Facebook has a Rovers update on this.
As regards BBC coverage, they usually concentrate on London and SE clubs when televising lower league teams! Bishops Stortford is chav land and not too far away from London and Snorbens is 1/2 an hour by train to central London and probably a few minutes more by car. I know coz I used to live there for years.
Best draw for us would be a team that gets COVID so we go through without losing or playing? Bit tough on other team though! Not a good time if you are a non League club if you have progressed this far; once in a lifetime?
Knowing our luck we will probably get Bromley or some other London team like Barnet away?
Who cares; it’s now the F... All Cup?

If you didn't know, it's also on BBC2.

Will there be a way to watch these games in the absence of attendances? I presume it won’t be on Ifollow because it’s not an EFL competition, nor do season ticket holders have any entitlement to it beyond ticketing priority, perhaps it will be on BT Sport box office like the prem games are?
Would be odd having a competitive competition that the fans have no access to watching beyond what’s selected for TV.

There's going to be 40 ties so I can't see all those games being screened live even on PPV? I assume the best we can hope for is radio commentary unless we're picked as a live game, or if it's at the Mem, or another league ground, Rovers get permission to broadcast the game via iFollow.

I've never understood why the draws are televised, couldn't imagine anything more boring than watching fixtures being decided 😴

What you refer to as a contemporary work of genius in form of transistor radio, others were doing similar years before with a 'wireless' ! A bygone era. Much like fa cup magic, especially as no replays now..

I remember the film 'ID' great to see them huddled around the radio and then celebrating a cup draw.... although that might have been more about violence than the opponent... maybe it wasn't so great to see - taxi....

I've never understood why the draws are televised, couldn't imagine anything more boring than watching fixtures being decided 😴 I am quite the opposite. I never miss a draw that Rovers are in, all the excitement of that potential unheard of Non league club away from home and a chance of television coverage. Until we draw Crawley Town at home.

Hoping for Mansfield. Hopefully give G.c’s team a good thrashing.
