If you had a season where you could go back to what would it be?
For me it was 1988-89 so many memorable games. Going to Wigan 3 times in one season was a experience Tuesday night at a almost empty huddersfield. Dennis bailey with a peach at wolves. bumping into my maths teacher at Chester in the home end and still calling him sir. Away win at Ashton in jan. Didn't Miss one match that season and every game had a memory

1973/74 season --The best ever Until we ran of steam? Not really sure anything can beat pipping the 82'ers to promotion/the championship at the end of the season.

No we didn’t, check the table Topper. Blimey, if we ran out of steam that season I wish we ran out of it every season. 😉 UTG! ps. Not confusing it with 99/00 are you?

1973/74. No question. Smash and Grab. The Flying Pig. Flash Fearnley. Colin Dobson on the wing. Frankie Prince. Stuart Taylor. In fact the whole team. Running on the pitch to celebrate after the last home match against Brighton, ignoring my Dad's attempts to drag me back. Eastville was my second home that season. Wonderful times.

As I wasn’t around for the 73/74 or 89/90 seasons, I’m going to go with 15/16.
It was a toss up between 06/07, 14/15 and 15/16 for me but 15/16 wins on the basis that we had such a likeable team/manager and that throughout the season we were so solid, picking up wins at a quick and consistent rate. DC, Sincs, Lines, Locks, Mansell, all such nice guys that gave their all for the football club. It also had that spine tingling last minute drama right at the end with the Lee Brown goal and the Accrington final whistle to top it off. Great memories.

It has to be 1883 when it all started, closely followed by 1920 when we entered the Football League for the first time. If you weren't there read the several books published over the years all on sale in the shop. Nice Xmas presents to read in lockdown

99-00 (up until the last few months!)
I went to the majority of the home games that season but as I was quite young I didn't get to do too many away games. There were some big results away from home that season and I would have loved to go back to that time to experience it. Top of the league, winning regularly away from home.

I saw every home game and a lot of away games that season. A group of us travelled away regularly and it was a great time spent with people I liked. Something I still look back on fondly.

73/74 got me hooked, but for me 89/90 is surely the best, winning promotion in front of the 82ers,just watching their faces, totally humiliated, then winning the title at Blackpool. 2007 had a great ending at Wembley and the back to back promotion were good, but for me 2nd of may 1990 will never be beaten.

Why do I need to check the table when I was there, we had a great undefeated run then made hard work of securing promotion letting, Oldham?, pip us to the Championship. Personally I'd sooner relive the championship winning season at Twerton, but it's all about opinions.

89/90. Especially the last 2 league games and then Wembley ! Unbeaten at home and only lost 5 games all season can’t be better than that

2008/2009 for me. First season my son regularly came with me and a really enjoyable cup run.
"We're gonna win 6-5" towards the end of the Baggies game just about my favourite terrace song.

Best season - 89-90 Best moment 3-0 v the sh** This. Didn't play football that season on a Saturday, travelled to Bath and a hell of a lot of away games. 3-0 for promotion against that lot is one of my most cherished memories in life...
