What lineup would you go for to take on JCH & Posh?
___________Jaakkola ___Kilgour___Ehmer___Harries Hare____Grant___Westbrooke__Leahy _____Nicholson___McCormick ___________Hanlan
Kilgour in for Baldwin as Baldwin’s made a few mistakes recently & would like to have a CB starting who played with JCH last season.
And I’d give Daly a breather & flood the midfield a bit to try and give us more of a foothold in the game than we’ve had vs the other top teams (bar Lincoln).

Kilgour was shocking before he was dropped and as played little competitive football since, apart from one slip at Rochdale, (we'd already lost to Hull) not sure Bladwin has cost us points, compared to Kilgour.
If Kilgour wants his place back he needs an MotM type performance at Walsall.
Nicholson V Daly is a difficult one as the latter is the only player scoring goals in regular play and we're usually awful at home with one upfront.

I think Grant is suspended for picking up 5 yellow cards, is he not? My team would be:
............................Jaakkola ........Kilgour.....Ehmer.......Harries Hare.....Upson......Westbrooke..Leahy ........................Oztumer .................Hanlan.......Nicholson
Agree with giving Daly a rest for one game and handing an opportunity to Kilgour but would stick with the 3-5-2 formation. I think it would work better if Nicholson is moved to playing as a secondary striker so he's given that freedom to run at the oppositions defence and Oztumer is put in at attacking mid to dictate play.

Not sure on Grant tbh. Think I read on here that he has 4 league bookings and 1 cup booking, so apparently won’t be suspended for a league game until he picks up another yellow in L1? But could be wrong. If he’s suspended then I’d go for Upson as you have.

He had a couple of poor performances at the start of the season and I can see why he was dropped but he's only 22, he demonstrated last season just what a good defender he can be at the heart of Coughlan's defence and at Sunderland away I think we saw flashes of that again. Deserves another chance IMO.

I thought I read on here that he was going to miss the Posh game but I do remember him picking up a yellow against Ipswich in the cup, so what you say does make sense. In that case, I'd stick with Grant in the midfield.

I'd only make one change - Kilgour in for Harries.
Save Otzumer, JML and McCormick for the 2nd half when the game will open up more.

Jaakkola
Ehmer Baldwin Harries Hare Westbrooke Grant Koiki Nicholson Hanlan Daly
Only one change for me brining in Koiki for his physical presence and more defensively minded approach against POsh. Get our attacking on Hares flank and fluid cover for Hare if we lose possession Ehmer Baldwin Harries Koiki (4 at the back)
3 Engergetic lads up top again and McCormick energy injection when either of them get tired. This harassing the posh back line into rushed passes / mistakes as we have done in our matches to date.
Kept Baldwin in as he is still a great through ball player / long passer which we will need in the counter attacking style I believe we will adopt today.
I think we will see JvS Kilgour Ozzy and JML come in on Saturday to give the others a bit o rest. But I don't see them starting in this match.
Ozzy used to play for Posh, so might get a few mins off the bench
As in most matches it will be who can win the midfield battle and be clinical in front of goal
Not really sure about this one. Realistically 1-1 would be good. 1-0 or 2-1 to us soaking up pressure would be awesome. Be nice not to concede a goal that we handed to them on a plate

Turning that the other way what happens if he's recalled and then Posh stick 5 past us, will that do his confidence any good when he's dropped again after we keep a clean sheet on Saturday? I'd keep the back 3 for tomorrow night and then consider Kilgour depending on the results tomorrow night and on Saturday. The big decision to make with our defence seems to be LWB not at CB.

I'd only make one change - Kilgour in for Harries. Save Otzumer, JML and McCormick for the 2nd half when the game will open up more. A right footed CB for a left footer, where's the logic in that decision particularly given how poor AK was when played at left CB? Kelly's Harries obvious reserve.

Gonna be tough and we'll need defensive resilience but speed and creativity for the break....
My team would be 3-5-2 and I'd be as follows:
GK - Jaakola (picks himself)
LWB - Leahy (bit more 'steady' than Tutonda although less mazy runs or unpredictability) LCB - Harries (despite his odd sliced clearance or lapse he's been pretty solid) CB - Ehmer (to tackle the threat of Jonno) RCB - Baldwin (to this day I don't know why it's Ehmer here normally and I I'd pick Baldwin again as generally he's been fairy solid) RWB - Hare (we'll need his crossing ability)
DCM - Grant (need his mobility) CM - Westbrooke (despite what others think, I think he's played really well this season) CM - Nicholson (deserves it)
CF - Hanlon CF - Daly (We'll need their press and energy and both are playing pretty well)
Tough on Ozzie and McCormick as both could easily step in but I do think BG will want to play if safe....

Tomorrow's line up will be very interesting, I think we need to play a more solid team but I don't know if Ben has the ability to do that up his sleeve...

Kelly's Harries obvious reserve. just to remind you Tops that Kilgour played in this position for many games last season - and played very well. Ideally a left footer will play on the left but Harries, for me, does crazy sliced clearances on his favoured LEFT foot even under no pressure - a goal will come from these very soon. He also is dodgy with his short/medium range passing - against better teams like Posh they won't waste those chances like some other teams recently.

Apart from JCH, The Peterborough player that worries me is Dembele - We either need to close him down completely OR fight fire with fire and the only player we have got that can compete with Dembele is Ozzy.

Kilgour straight swap for the liability Baldwin. Kilgour is better in middle than on the right and Ehmer looked good out there against Rochdale.
