Should lift the spirits of those north of the border and i am very happy for them, shame N.I, never made it though. These Qualifiers seem to have been going on for ever, makes you wonder if its harder not to qualify! Doubt this good will would be reciprocated! I believe this means England v Scotland next summer? hope crowds are back for a fixture which is always a great occasion. Watched some of England v Ireland last night, seemed to me just like a training match and may as well have played at ST Georges, no edge to it at all and Irish very poor. think i could have played in goal for us for all the threat they posed!

I'm sorry football is dead to me without any crowds. That goes for all sports I enjoy...UFC/Boxing it's ridiculous watching them without any spectators.Only Golf, Snooker and Darts are passable. I can only barely watch Rovers on Ifollow due to my heart being involved as it my club. But these games are as you said like training games.I can see some players motivation being much lower than normal given empty stadiums without fans driving them on.

They most be so proud. Some achievement finishing third in the group 15 points behind the winners and then overcoming the might of Israel and Serbia by penalty shootouts!!!!!!
I hope the FA get our turf and goalposts insured before the tartan army arrive at Wembley.

National 'kindness' day not reached you yet then!! Got nothing against the Scots on a personal level. The whole Tartan army thing does my head in a bit though. Blokes in skirts swilling Tennants Super. Its like the early hours of Sunday morning driving through Stokes Croft. In all fairness the tournament will be a better place should fans be allowed to attend.

I guess this is why the teds are doing well, their players are used to playing in a stadium with no crowd noise

I hope the FA get our turf and goalposts insured before the tartan army arrive at Wembley. They earned their play off semi final spot by winning their group in the ‘C’ division of the inaugural nations league tournament. But yes, they played Israel & Albania in that group. The path to the final could not have been easier, for what is on paper, not a bad Scotland team at all.

Tbf to them, Serbia are a decent team and to beat them away (and outplay them) is a good result. Scottish football has been absolutely pathetic for far too long. I'm pleased they're finally back. I have a ticket for the game, if we're allowed in 🤞

Visited Falkirk last year.Way down the leagues but decent set-up.Stadium used extensively by the local community. Not that long ago I was intrigued by the rise and rise of Gretna who went from no-where to the Scottish prem in successive seasons.Went to see them v St Johnstone(only team in England or Scotland with a 'J' in their name). They had to play at Motherwell as their own tiny ground wasn't up to scratch but once their wealthy Geordie benefactor died, they disappeared into the Scottish colleges league east Division or something.
